I think it's great what was said in this message, as long as you guys can keep up the positivity and actively involve the community - its a good start. I've played this game on and off since 2002 with various different account and I've seen it go through alot of stages. The game itself is developing very well but you seem to be losing peoples faith, where is the underlying problem?

On a completely different **te, and I'm typing this here 'cause I don't know what other method of contact I could use. I saw you're looking at venues for RuneFest? If you're interested I've got one with a capacity of 4000-5000 people across various different rooms or ''Arena''s. With 80 hotel rooms available too, all on one level with a vast outdoor space. It's my family's business and I think it would be ideal as a venue for yourselves, we've done things similar and it works extremely well. Get in touch with me if you're interested at all.

EDIT: I just want to say; I wouldn't post this if I didn't feel the venue would be a good place for you to consider, it's unique in its own right and can be moulded to suite your event.

@ Anyone

To extend this invite to anyone that does not understand the Eoc , please feel free to join my friend chat when I appear online in-game.

My pm is always set to ON or OFF , never any other option. So anyone will be able to see me on in-game.

If went through the tutorial, but did not really understand it...Maybe you did not have the Voice acting on and turned up to hear the Teacher speak. I have found it was a Big help for many.

Looking forward to help others use this Eoc system.

Question: Are you even looking into ways to make eoc less button or clicking intensive for the players that do not like the intense type of combat ?

A compromise maybe without taking away from the players that like the intense style of combat ?

I have had no problems adjusting to eoc style of fighting but one . I have arthritis in my fingers and find the extra finger work of manipulating the ability bar painful .Before with the old style of combat i could play and fight for hrs on end at clan wars ,soul wars ,due to the one click style of combat. Now i can only play a few games at a time .

I have used momentum which i find is real nice but is only good for slayer . It is pretty much useless for fighting other players and bosses.

I have seen some suggestions in some of the forums that would work for me and i think for players that don`t like the eoc without taking anything away from the ones that like eoc.

Even tho this may sound crazy my idea would be to somehow incorporate both styles into the system as an option to use - one click (old style)- or manual style of fighting (eoc). Give it 50 - 50 chance of either style winning a battle. The base of this idea is there with momentum.

Oh well i really do not think i will get a response from this but i keep hoping .

Can't we just let PK'ing die peacefully? Why do you people insist on keeping it on a ventilator and try desperately to revive it? Obviously the majority of us are getting along just dandy without it. *Blackenese I agree, there needs to be alot more in the wilderness, just as soon as they remove the PvP mechanic from it and bring back the revenants.

In case you haven't seen any of my other arguments about PK'ing I'll recap quickly for you:

1) PK'ing breeds hate, violence, anger, revenge, and a condescending attitude towards others...I know because I have experienced them.

2) I am not against PK'ing so long as it is done within controlled areas where I am not required to go. (I am a Quester, thus I often have need of being in the wilderness.) You'll never hear me speak out against the crucible or any PK mini game. (I even play the safe ones like Soul Wars and Castle Wars.)

3) Yes I am selfish, just like every other person in the game. Why do you want the wilderness back? For your own enjoyment and personal gain in the game. Why do I want the wilderness PK free? Same reasons, my own enjoyment and personal gain.

@ Har Vester

Make sure you give support to those threads that you liked the idea on.

Pvp battles are always intense with multi clicks or button pushes to switch the interface. The bosses were meant to be intense as well and should be so.

Maybe your suggestion might alter the way momentum works in which it does more abilities on a shorter timer then it already does, or it will do the abilities on a timer in the order you have set up in your ability bar?

All feed back is needed to really make the Eoc blend in with the whole community , but of course it will not completely please all. A 50-50 happy and not happy outcome is known as the better updates.

Your opening statement is flawed, the majority of the RS players have left and the numbers continually dwindle with the mistakes and removal of the wilderness. The stats are quite clear.. blatant lying doesn't make a good foundation.

There are some other problems in your reasoning.

"1) PK'ing breeds hate, violence, anger, revenge, and a condescending attitude towards others...I know because I have experienced them."

I've been in the wilderness and I've experienced these factors as well as the Exact Opposite; Companionship, good sportsmanship, socializing and meeting new friends.

I've been to MANY Skilling spots where hatred, greed and violence were being "bred" due to selfish people fighting over spots or basically nothing.

The conclusion is quite simple, it isn't the pking that breeds such things, atleast not more-so than other basic game aspects... those sorts of problems lie in people's characters... which you and I can be a major part in helping.

Your "2" is you disagreeing with the concept of risk. They merely think that at some stages players should have to take Higher risks to obtain quests, as it is a reflection of the basic stories in Runescape or heros in any day and age. There isn't many Hero stories that involve 0%- low risk, but rather the opposite.

You can always help your friend's with these things as well as let them help you.

Your "3" includes factors that you cannot accurately claim "Yes I am selfish, just like every other person in the game"...

Runescape's Highest peak in all aspects was during a time when battling was not so Intense.

@ Har Vestor

I think the concept you are trying to aim for is a very valuable option for Jagex to consider.

I don't just mean financially, but bringing back the majority of players would only greatly help that aspect as well lol.

I really hope they will consider it, as well as make an alternative option in the meantime (as that will take a LONG time to write and measure the balances). Thumbs up~
