"Nerf gambling in all it's forms."
In order for them to actually do that they would have to get rid of their very own Squeal Fortune which at the moment is the biggest gambling activity surrounding rs at the moment, and its not even rs gp like the other gambling, but its gambling with real live money. Promoted by our very own jagex.

Wow! I must say, MMG, I'm very impressed. A few hours after replying to this thread, I receive a message directly from you in reply to my post in my Jagex mail box.. You're off to a VERY good start on these promises.

P.S.S: Have you considered playing around with the site permissions a little so that you, J-Mods, can log into your FORUM accounts when outside the office? I understand that, at present, in order to log into a J-Mod account period, one must be at the Jagex offices. If you want to help stay in touch and SHOW that to the community, change some permissions so that forum access can be obtained while not in the office, so J-Mods can communicate with us on the forums on their own time and SHOW that to us.
And as for security concerns, I think you guys could set it up so that, while out of office, the J-Mod account is limited to F-Mod abilities, to avoid a guessed ******** leading to someone causing mass chaos on the forums.
Just my, err, MANY cents.

Ok, I see a lot of people are complaining about gambling. I personally host, but by myself without a clan, and I have never scammed anyone doing so
which I'm proud of. But you shouldn't make gambling ban-able, scamming is ban-able, gambling should not be!
Apparently there are gambling worlds, which I'm very unclear on, but instead of destroying gambling, how about you define what worlds are okay for gambling? As in World 2, 1 and the trade worlds for sure, and maybe a few "gambling" worlds. just an Idea
Their are probably other people who gamble legitimately, and it's only fair to let them keep going!
So when you gamble, you know the chances of the game and the risks you take if you have an unfamiliar host. Otherwise, don't gamble
Anyways, the post made me smile in real life, you guys are great, and this is still the best game I have haha. Only game which I've been able to play for 8ish years, and enjoy the whole time, thank you.
The Eoc is also an amazing update, was really easy to get used to, (maybe took me a day or two to get to know the abilities) and are a lot more fun. If people stopped "Button mashing" and actually took time to be precise and figure out a good combat strategy, they might enjoy it a little more. Anyways thank you Jagex!

1. There was so much anger and fear over the release of the EOC. I am the last of my clan left. Day after day i log in to see the empty clan chat box; and without the clan owner ive lost all benefits the clan offers. It is like the end of a family. I personaly love the game as it is now that EOC has become established, but I miss all the lost players. Is there anything coming with those lost players in mind that may offer them an olive branch baiting there return? "such as an email even if there membership has expired or an incentive package to those with old accounts that have faded sence the beta?\
2. I do love the new changes. And the s.o.f. is awesome. Yelps has become a very endearing charicter and it would be cool to see him work his way into the storyline of the game. Soloman's store is alot of fun and provides asthetic effects that i had hoped for for a while, not to mention the pets. I do hope the pets receive balenced updates makeing them more unique to there owners likings.
3. The SGS has been my favorite item sence i began playing. Thankyou so much for giving it its new passive ability helping it maintaing its high place amidst the other wepons.
4. Finally, I understood the need to kill the D claws. They were so overpowered and turned the game blan and repeditive; however, at the risk of offending the artist i have to say i miss the old look.
perhaps the soloman's store could offer "Classic wepons and armors"... There are already somany asthetic wepons are available without effecting the stats. maybe classic apperences would be good.
