I'm really excited for Jagex to increase communication over the next year. I think 2012 had more good updates than bad, and although I REALLY disagreed with Squeal of Fortune and, to some degree, Solomon's store at first, as long as the money goes toward paying the good folks at Jagex and rolling out game content for us I'm satisfied.

I also want to say that I really enjoyed the Evolution of Combat. I did not much like combat before as I found it kind of boring at best and now that it's more involved I actually pay attention and feel a bit more "involved" with the whole experience, instead of feeling like I'm watching a math equation unfold.

Really looking forward to the construction update that's allegedly being worked on right now, can't wait! :) Thanks Jagex.

hey allowed us to double the size of RuneScape’s team and keep up the near-weekly game updates. Also, we've put the money we've earned from these back into RuneScape technology and infrastructure, with the focus on tackling lag, improving audio and graphical quality.

Jagex, before you continue to expand and implement micro-transactions, you should do research into how many players play with the highest detail or in-game volume on. I know that I am among the many who play on the lowest detail and with all in-game volume on, and these "investments" (that ruin the current game) are going toward parts of the game I don't use, and have no interest in using. I think voice acting is kinda neat, but it's not exciting to me, a 8 year veteran of RS, or needed. It seems to me that it's just another way for you to advertise RuneScape and try to keep ahead of MMOs heading in the same direction as RuneScape.

I truly hope you reconsider both micro-transactions and continuing to invest serious money into graphical and audio updates, as many current players don't care for either.

I have never gambled but i certenly think you are right that people should have the right to have there own social in game aspects like gambling. Its a far cry from scamming and i agree with you. ^_^ It seems to me that bots and scammers should be the focus of disiplinary actions.

I enjoyed this post, I'm happy to know that Jagex shared the same opinions as many players on some of the updates and promotions.

I would've liked to see more on the "What's Going" part of it, but I won't complain, I'm happy with this post.

At times???? At times???? How about "continually"!

Let's take a look at the 5 sections of the site's rotation-panel right now:
* Desert Tasks
* SGS Abduction Teleports
* SOF Construction Lamps
* Premier Club
* Pay for membership with credit card rewards.

That's 1 content update and 4 promotions.

Now let's look at the 4 links under the rotator:
* Premier Club
* Account Guardian
* Recruit a Friend
* Membership Cards

That's 1 security feature and 3 promotions.

This indicates your priorities far more clearly than your blog post. Never uses treasure hunter keys. Never buys runecoins or bonds. Never pays extra for 'Premier' status or passes. Never will.

I am really excited for this year :) thank you Mod MMG and the RS staff, I look forward to every update that comes our way. Great year so far with the Kalphite King, and task system. Keep up the great work!
