Hi Mark,

I am glad that you've posted this insight. Sometimes years come and go without realising, and I feel a post like this really nails home the aims and goals of the year.

I am happy with how the game is at the moment and how it will develop in the future. The economy is in a bit of a state atm, though, IMO. Skillers can hardly make any cash; potion flasks are practically worthless; and there's too much focus on combat rewards and drops than there is on skilling.

@Beats of 187 - jagex tries to make content with both old players and new players in mind, the EOC was modernizing combat which is what draws attraction to most new players. Personally theres nothing wrong with EOC, try not to think of it of a single update, now they have this system in place, they can do alot more with runescape and make it into a Even more great game.. So again, its not a one time update, its an expansion for all combat related updates/quests in the future.

and jagex will never make an "old time" server, they have said that many times in the past before

At the very least I'm happy that you have admitted to some of the mistakes you've made and that your communication wasn't particularly good times. That's the first step for improvement, it may be small but it's a start. Please don't disappoint us again.

hey mmg, this is my second post. read my first for feedback, this is just a question:
how are you going to improve the player mods in 2013. theres a lot of rumours recruiting 4-8k new Pmods. I'm seriously asking myself, how can you controll that every account which will be invited is in for the community and i hope you'll all recruit carefully not just give the crown and be done. Thanks.

Might aswell face the facts that EoC didn't make RuneScape THRIVE and you haven't done jack**** about bots/goldfarming (expect for the f2p ones hey). The best update you could do at this point is a 6 year rollback to be fairly honest or open a few so called "old school worlds" to gain back/more players.

please remember that there are always more than 2 sides to a community and both have a right to an opinion this is not harassment its merely players wanting whats best for them and there friends jagex took a big risk even creating EOC let alone releasing it into the game ,they want to be thankful players stuck by them through this risk , lets hope they dont try something so risky next time
