Mod MMG as well as the rest of the Jagex Staff,
I've personally been playing this game off and on since 2004 and have been a member since I began playing. I've seen just about every major update that you have put out thus far and have seen the ups and downs that this game has went through. I've truly enjoyed the Evolution of Combat thus far. Coming from someone who used to be very competitive in several other MMOs, it was a breath of fresh air into the game. But their is still a few things you should consider from myself and the very few of my real life friends that still play. May I offer some tips enhance players overall enjoyment?
-Economy-
As someone who has been a merchant for nearly about 6 or so years now though, I have seen the effects that certain updates have had on this games economy. One of the better updates you gave this game was when we moved out of a free trade market and into a trade limit. Back in 2009, the game was free of gambling, gold spammers, gold sellers, and luring. The player base was friendly, helpful, and almost free of children arguing and scamming each other for pixels.
By reverting back to a trade limit, you could divert a good portion of our man power towards anti-bot measures into actual updates like new quest chains, new instanced bosses (awesome job on KK by the way, Instancing is shown to actually be a great way to boss in previous MMOs as well), and much more. The only downside to this is that I let some of my real life friends borrow high level gear. That's not entirely terrible though, since 40m practically buys a full set of all gwd armor now and i can afford to let a few have them.
-PVP-
I have never been an avid wilderness pker, but have always loved actual safe pvp minigames like castle wars, duel arena, and soul wars. Several of my friends who do pk say that "Pking is Dead." Maybe its time that Runescape's pvp took a different direction.
