I can already hear the voices...

"Bring back 06RS", "bring back 08RS", "bring back 09RS", "bring back 10RS", bring back 11RS" ...........................................

Btw most games cost $15 a month and would NEVER take the time to pull an 07RS move. Hell most of those will slap a forums' mute or even a ban on those complaining about EoC.

As I said on page 25... deep breaths, people... 6 months from now, unless the numbers stick, y'all might have to negotiate fees with Jagex (extra $2.50, same payment as usual but EoC OR 07.. that kinda stuff)... and by negotiate I mean something OTHER than "It should all be free, and stop making changes to the game over the years because adapting to new stuff is out of the question" (yes, minor hyperbole).

Way I see it, the best choice is gonna be treating them like two separate games. Gonna miss some people, but to be honest I won't miss those who complain about having to include their left hand in their gaming life. We DID ......... Evolve (haaaaaaaaah!) with two hands, after all.

Wish this could've been done without delaying the new quest. But I'm glad that I can finally play the current game without seeing people complaining about it.

Gotta admit though, it kinda stinks that the way to get things done is complain about it a lot. Really gives you a view on the community of this game. We're almost as bad as the WoW community.

i know you guys worked a lot on these old school servers, and i love them thank you sooo much. but we were so close to 500k votes, can you not bump us up 50k votes or so? i can understand if you cant but please. i think other players would appreciate the development team if we got 500,000 votes, and the always no extra charge to play it. any way thank you so much, i wasn't playing Runescape ever since EoC, but the 2007 servers are amazing and made me play 24/7. one more thing to ask, i never got this story clear, will we have to buy the existing $7.99 membership to play the old school servers? THANKS!

As someone that loves the new runescape, especialy EoC, and have no plans to play 06....I hope you all appreciate that I will be subsidizing you moaners for the next 6 months at least.

Do not support RuneScape version 2007.


RuneScape version 2007 belongs in the past, and it should stay in the past.

We now live in the year 2013, and RuneScape has out grown version 2007.


Jagex has tried to give us the best updates for the game. We cannot go back in time just because we don’t like something.


It's silly having two versions of RuneScape. There is only one true version of RuneScape and that version is the year we live in now.


RuneScape version 2007 should be deleted (it's silly to keep it).

For the time being, yes. Jagex haven't said anything about seperate payments so you can choose between either Old School or EOC.
As it stands, players will have to pay the initial £4.95 membership (this gives access to EOC) and then another charge on top (it hasn't been fixed yet but Jagex have speculated it will be around $5) for Old School servers. I suspect however, that this may be subject to change if there is a high demand for Old School.

excuse me? not everyone has the time to spare to play runescape all the time, the fact that you judge people for not wanting to RESET EVERYTHING THEY'VE EVER DONE is freaking childish, get off your high horse and enjoy your game
