@ yolo fapper: You clearly don't understand why EoC players are flaming 07 servers, since the release of the 07 server there has been no1 playing the main game. So why is anyone going to pay for a game that has no legit players, after the 6 months free period ends players will not come back to EoC servers and quit so great job ***ex you ruined your game Seriously well done.

"Now that Old School RuneScape has been launched we need to see how many players will actually use the service on a regular basis, should the community continue to grow and players remain engaged then the service will remain as a free benefit to our cherished members. Obviously, should player activity decline over the next 6 months rather than grow we would have to introduce an additional $5 membership fee to fund the on going service."

Pretty generous of Jagex to do that, I personaly don't play 07, but I approve of the idea, one thing I would love is a simple connection with the clan chat in the eoc

Do you not think the fact that the release of 07scape saw a huge fall in players on the Eoc says a lot about the EoC? I'm not slating the EoC, I'm just saying that this only further proves the majority of the community was anti-EoC

poll closed thursday morning for me in america; jagex is based in uk which is 6 hours ahead

also i adapted to eoc and learned the mechanics, it still sucks

instead of making an 07 scape why don't you make eoc and non eoc pretty simple man

Do you not think it's because of every single bot that has infested the main game? 20k gold farmers have been taken out of the EoC server (apparently) worlds 84+88 are the only 2 worlds with 1k+ "players" on them I wonder what they are all doing on those designated LRC mining worlds. All Jagex has done is left one game to die and watch another slowly fail. I don't see why we should give them the satisfaction of playing anymore.

Thanks for listening to all the forum comments about how the game wouldn;t work if there was a fee straight away.

Really, really good job guys at Jagex. Doing something that a lot of the community has wanted for a while now.

Given a few weeks I'm sure that 07scape will become infested with bots too. Bots always have and always will be a huge problem in Runescape, and to think otherwise is plain naive.

When the EoC was released, a large number of 'veteran' players (which made up a good chunk of the community) quit, if you take away the community, you take away the game. All that's left is a number of players that really do enjoy the EoC, and then of course a huge number of bots. I can understand your frustration in this and share in it partly too, however, if you honestly feel like Jagex don't deserve your money anymore, then the obvious thing to do would be to quit. I suggest you give 07scape a try, however
