Good move Jagex. However, if no weekly/monthly content updates happen, the Old School servers will die and all of the returning player base will be gone (including me).

I love how EoCscapers complain about them having to pay for our Runescape.

Ever thought about the opposite? I don't play EoCscape, yet my money pays for your crappy game as well.

Ok, that's dissapointing. "Only" for 6 months no extra costs if our membership wouldn't end up once? That isn't a nice idea.... I would prefer an intermediate solution like seperate prices for Old School RS membership and RS membership AND aslo both together so we have a choice which one we want to play.

Old School Membership: ~4€ / 5$ (only one month)
RuneScape Membership: no changes.

If it were like that, i would pay for RS07... but ONLY for RS07.
But both together like it would be in 6 month... no way. Please think about it once again.

They said that if numbers don't decline they will keep it free, I think that makes sense. They need it to be viable.

This seems like a good idea to me! I've been wondering for the past week what Jagex would do if we only got 450k votes, and I personally think the decision they've made is a good one.

Thanks for the 6 months, long as you keep the servers roughly as they are now [with tiny bug fixes here n there] then I believe the 07 community will continue to grow.

If you bring back summoning then that is enough for me to stop playing lol. So just keep it as it is........!

Well played... of course you KNOW that activity will decline quickly once the hype wears off. So you make like a drug dealer and offer a few free fixes before the inevitable price hike.

The only thing that seriously pi**es me off about this is that you are going to waste membership fees for the real game to subsidize OldcrapScape for half a year. Once you go NXT, you never go back.
