Great Video. Helps explain all the things players will now need to re-learn for boss fighting.
Only problem is this veteran will no longer be playing this game in Combat rolls.
I hate the EOC I cancelled all 3 of our family accounts and will play only untill our family's 280 days of credit runs out.
Once the credit runs out we will not be renewing memberships.. Everyone that is like our family that hates the EOC update should also cancel their memberships. I say this because the only thing the investors of IVP that now run Jagex, will understand is the players removing their financial support.
If IVP & Jagex are to dumb to listen to all of our negative feed back and to dumb to listen to us begging for them to run the EOC on 2 sets of servers one for Runescape 3 and another set for Runescape 2 well....
With out Runescape 2 there will continue to be a large exodus of players leaving the Runescape game to go and play some other company's MMORPG. Again this is because these players can not stand what IVP & Jagex have done to what was once the greatest MMORPG in the world...
Yesterday Runescape was the best MMORPG in the world
Today with the EOC it just sucks.
EOC is the worst thing ever. Jagex Killed Runescape yesterday.
Rest In Peace Gielenor. You are missed!
Thank you thats all I have to say. A Jagex Mod or a forum mod will probably hide this and censor it. Like they have every time we EOC haters post something this significant.
Wipes tears from eyes and logs off

I saw nothing wrong with the old combat system but I like the new combat system.
As long as xp/hr rates are balanced I hope this can only improve my favourite game.

Hey there Devans Blade,
I'm really sorry to hear you're not going to be with us for the next leg in RuneScape's epic journey. Naturally, if you've made up your mind to leave the lands of Gielnor, I wish you all the best - but hopefully I can correct a few misconceptions you've expressed so that you'll see there's every reason to stay!
First up, lets cut through the intrigue and conspiracy surrounding the direction of the game. As MMG himself has directly said during one of the many live stream sessions that we've held over the last few months: our investors have absolutely ZERO editorial say in the production of our game.
Just as with any other privately held venture, investors are there for financial backing only and DO NOT interfere with the running of the game, or the direction the content takes. Jagex are responsible for making RuneScape and we're not in the habit of doing things that will deliberately land the many hundreds of us who work here out of a job. Think about it for a second - we're people like you and we want the game we all love to be a success. Taking steps we think will be bad for the game would be totally illogical. :)
Regarding having EoC mechanics on separate servers, its not only technically unworkable, but also really undesirable. Think about it. We'd have to produce two sets of content with every update - one that works with the old, basic non-dynamic combat system, and one that can take advantage of all the new mechanics. That would be a development nightmare and would absolutely cripple the game's development. You'd see next to no new content coming out in any given year and the basic combat worlds would have to forgo the latest awesome bosses or new minigames, on account of not having the underlying mechanics to support them. Within months, you'd see everyone migrating to where things are still alive and going forward - just as we saw with RuneScape 2 and RuneScape Classic.
Lastly, I'd like to challenge the idea that Jagex has disregarded feedback and ignored players. We've made countless changes based on player feedback, and some of the most major additions & tweaks were directly because of player suggestions. I suspect that "don't do EoC" is really what you're talking about, but it has to be said that this kind of sentiment is not really feedback. The Evolution of Combat was and is absolutely necessary in helping RuneScape to be the best it can be. Problems with the old combat system were abundant and pronounced. It may have been simpler and it may have been familiar, but it was also shallow and deeply broken.
The new system takes a little practice, but the gameplay rewards are worth the small investment. The idea that EoC might be "too complex" for someone to learn (which is something I've seen here and there) is difficult to justify when you consider it is entirely possible to replicate the click & go combat of old, just by starting a fight as you always have and then, within a few smaller hits to build up Adrenaline, letting the "Momentum" Ability off, giving you the same powerful hands-free hits you're used too. It's a tiny adjustment, really.
And you still have the option to hide the Action Bar when you're not fighting so you can chat without needing to hit "enter" first. There's really nothing that has changed other than giving everyone a massive amount of flexibility to fight how they want, and to look freaking awesome whilst doing it! :D
On a last note, I also just wanted to be clear that we don't censor feedback. Constructive feedback when posted in the right place and in a respectful tone will always be welcomed. If some one has posted something like "i hate eoc it is rubbish so don't do it", that, of course, will be hidden or removed. But that's nothing to do with the sentiment - it's because that kind of comment is non-constructive spam.
Anyway, apologies again for the long post, but I hope you can see we're still deeply passionate about RuneScape, we firmly believe EoC is the right thing for the game's longevity and we care a great deal about making sure no player is left behind in getting used to the new mechanics. It just takes a tiny amount of initial adjustment, and then you're away having far more fun than you ever thought possible. We really hope you decide to stick around. <3
All the best,
Mod Drebin | RuneScape Community Team | @JagexDrebin

I am all for the EoC, but i hate how you take RS youtuber videos and post them as guides. After the EoC release was announced there came out lots of guides and when Simon did his guide then everybody thought that he was paid by jagex to do it and that would also make it to the homepage. That has been out for a week and we thought they did it on their own, but **** you still disappointed me jagex. I don't know if you guys paid them to do it or not but either way i don't like it.
Make your own guides, its your game after all.
Also get rid of the new "Make X" interface, there was nothing wrong with old one. The old system was fine, it wasn't broken or anything to be reworked. Nobody cares about the seconds and xp amount and i don't need to see multiple items on the interface because will always make 1 item per inventory. Its also very annoying for RC in dungeoneering.
Its like if you guys turned the new dreadnip deploy method back to the old dreadnip screen.
The interface pops over my screen, slows things down like the herb cleaning. That just doesn't make sense to nerf it when you guys promoted a skilling guide that uses the exact same method for dropping ores, it just doesn't make any sense at all.
