As a 5 year vet, i really dont support this update, i think most of the people who support the update are new players, since they haven't really played for a while and don't know the game any better. The veterans that support eoc probably don't train combat much, and don't care. Last week, i could log on and see 125000 people on, a few years ago i could log on and see 225000 people on, when i started in 2007, i would see probably 300000 people logged in. The game's slowly dying, and i'm just waiting for my membership to run out
i won't quit for a few months, because i'm hoping jagex will remove this update, but if they don't, i probably will.
And in the eoc, theres gonna be glitches and bugs, and i can guaruntee that the players who find them out by pure coincidence and don't take advantage of them will still be banned regardless, because jagex is notorious for that.

I'm glad somebody else mentioned the drop or fight problem, so it's not just me, huh? 'Dren needs to fall off a bit slower, both for the Con/Def abilities to heal up, and the need to pick up drops to make the trip worthwhile (or at least gold-neutral-ish). This is especially true for training Slayer; I understand that there's always a choice in terms of XP/GP, but this is a bit stark. Kills as fast as are manageable, and go broke, or pick up everything and take forever for one assignment? Uhhhh... choice C???
Can we have more stab and crush weapons back? I notice that waterfiends still have a slight weakness for crush, yet my SS, D2H, etc. all fail me. I'm stuck turning to range (working on it, honest!) or using a Dmace or 2, which is not all that good either. Many people are turning to Barrows weapons and gear just for the sake of the weapon style. Dweaps used to be fairly viable, but not anymore.
Yeah, noticed the goldseller ads, and Runeshark's other vid featured a lame Elite clue reward. Yet again I'd like to push for TT's to <siphon petrol> less. [Graphics] Drivers Wanted.
