I am confident that what I have posted is not spam, nor trolling. And it is just a hard thing for you to accept that you have done the wrong thing. So it is easier for you to blindly dismiss it rather than address it.

The way I see it, you and the rest of the diehard fans of RSC have definitely been wronged. I tend to believe other folks when they talk about security issues with RSC, but that doesn't correspond with Jagex' decision to not let you run the servers at your own cost - as they claimed they don't want to give up the game because of potential profits in the future.

The very least they could do is award RSC players with the same sentimental plaque and cape that DarkScape players received after they suddenly closed down that version of RS as well. While that doesn't really fix the promise they've broken, at least it's not a middle finger straight in the face like you're getting right now. Group Ironmen Suggestion: 16-17-573-66107567

Wrong in this case is not subjective. As the actions by Rob would be seen as false by any rational observation.
Claims without proof are not fact, no matter how much you want them to be.

Mui its very important that Rob conducts himself in an ethical manner, as that is the standard that he wants Jagex to adopt. Although ironically, Jagex is acting more ethical than Rob.
And while you may want RSC to return, doing it Robs way is objectively the wrong way.

Claims without proof? The way I understand things here, is that Rob states that Jagex made a promise to RSC players that they would continue to run the RSC servers. I don't know if he linked a screenshot or a url; but if he did just that, there's your proof of a promise they didn't keep. Except, the people who made the promise sold the company. The newer owners made no promises to keep it open indefinitely. Unless it was explicitly stipulated in the buying agreements (for the multiple times Jagex has been sold) to keep that promise Jagex is under no obligation.

Right okay, fair enough - that makes it redundant then. However, in my personal opinion it's dishonorable to buy a company from someone and shit all over their promise and legacy, no matter the reason. I don't see how that choice can be defended morally, unless it was absolutely tanking their resources for some reason. Group Ironmen Suggestion: 16-17-573-66107567
