I have the RIGHT to be upset with Jagex, as do so many others, because we were told the game wouldn't be closed should we choose to stay

Never said you couldnt but ok.

I'm not sure if you play RS3, or OSRS, but imagine: Whatever you've play, you've played for 17 years. They tell you: "Hey bud, I know you've been paying us all this time, and I know you've worked so hard, but go ---- yourself. You get nothing. Bye."

Like you obviously know, a fmod stated that there were 3 times in the past when you couldve got something from classic through the transfers.

Yet from what it seems like you and many others chose to stay on classic and not take part in them.

Thus it was your choice, not jagex's, that you lost your items.

They once again gave plenty of warnings that once the 3 transfer was up, all items on classic would stay till its death.

Draco,

We were told all items would stay on Classic. Not stay on Classic until it's death.

Stay on Classic = Great! Right where we want them.

Stay on Classic, which would be deleted in 2018 = Yeah man, we're gonna go ahead and move everything over.

Classic was PROMISED TO STAY. Not promised to stay for 14 years, PROMISED TO STAY.

Is there anything else you need me to clarify before I stop responding to your troll replies?

Yes it was, by the Gowers, who no longer work at Jagex.

So why are you still thinking that this would be the case considering they AFAIK hold no power there?

You do know things can change right?

Thus just because something was promised in the past doesnt mean it'll always be that way.

Yep, quite aware of the issue with it as I and many others are in the situation now.

Don't blame the 10 year old me for believing I would be just fine staying where I am, blame the morals of a multimillion dollar company that has plenty of means to provide for the elders of the community, but chooses not to.

They dont give you your rares for obvious reasons.

In OSRS its easy enough to get all the rares you want.

In Rs3, it would crash the market by even introducing untradeable versions as thats still rereleasing them.

They hold no power but ethically should have been an option to have heard what they would have said on this. Is like this you get a kid but are whom you care on for 10 years you promise he will get good life, you leave him with whom you think are fit then 7 years later they just throw him off out the street whilst they still claim him as theirs but don't allow another person to take better care of him. Under same thing should the Gowers have known that Jagex would break promises they would just not have given it away. And yes it was a promise made on Gowers but on Jagex' behalf not on his personal account.

Honestly, the xfer is an obvious issue to me. We've held them for all this time, and should reap the same benefits of anyone on RS3 who have held them all this time.

Aside, would rather the game stay open than any kind of transfers. That's why I've offered Jagex all expenses to keep the game open, and I've offered all of the rares/gold I have to any youtuber with enough balls to post a video urging the support of our game.

Happy to played it. I am not as coward as them to break promises, I still got a due promise to myself and a friend so will keep that promise until it fulfills. As far as for other accounts I have they will no longer get cash on my behalf and have friends who plainly stopped because Jagex just went so low. I know other veterans are doing the same, so I'm happy jagex will be running less on their numbers.

Why?

Why should ppl who played an unsupported game till its death get free rares?

The only transfer i can agree to is porting them to osrs.

Sadly that didnt seem to be enough to cover the expenses of running those outdated servers.
