If you have read the terms and conditions and understood them, you wouldn't be in the position you are now.
The T&C clearly define what you should expect from Jagex and what they expect from you.

In this instance you are claiming for more than you agreed upon in several ways.

Stating that Jagex is wrong for closing down their game, incorrect, you agreed that they could do so.
Stating that items should be moved across as they are yours, incorrect as you agreed that you are leasing the account and own nothing but access to it.

Jagex can do more than is required by them in the T&C but they don't have to.

@Telci, Yes it is a personal target question because you said since I had been playing (2002) and the terms and conditions from nowadays are totally a more win/lose than back at the time. So it was unclear and after your post you should have reworded. Regardless as commented earlier by the fmod its potential for flame war.

No one is arguing that they could not close their game, I hope you have followed but what had been argued along is that they could have done better for the community.

Perhaps you didn't interpret correctly but I am not the best advocate for item transfer since to me a dragon sword less or more makes no difference. Its not correct that I said "hey lets move items", I would suggest not throwing words into other people's mouths.

Well the T&C doesn't pay for them its what they say/fix/implement or whatever that attracts the players attention that's why they do more than what is required in the T&C. Neglecting the classic community no longer attracts us. Simple.

You lot seem to be as you are making quite a big deal over it happening.

Well yes not everyone spends each day reading if the T&C had changed. Unlike some companies which is not the purpose here naming them, freely tell their clients/players that the terms had changed. Jagex is in their right of not doing such, but to me is rather weak. I don't doubt many players feel confident with their account/game feeling safe which can't be guaranteed - proof the closure of the games. Answered to an old edit of yours Draco

Well just because you dont doesnt mean you dont agree to them each and every day you have an acc.

Just because I don't, which for the record, I shouldn't explain if I do or don't, pretty sure a fair percentage doesn't follow that. Furthermore, if you want to make someone aware of something there is nothing better than being clear which is why I said letting them know when things change. Rather unmentioned notices I consider rather weak.
