It's not just about beating him, I need to be able to finish the entire 17 wave encounter to get a cape, it's not even worth trying until I can beat the boss easily.

It's too much, I am better off putting that focus somewhere else and wait for an update to make me stronger.

Whats going to make you stronger you think? Necromancy? You will summon an army of the dead?

I'm not sure about the combat, there is something about magic I am missing. Starting to lose interest, because I can do at least double the damage with the other styles now. And they are way more fun with the gear I have.

Otherwise, I think there is a lot to learn about this issue. It took me an entire week to even consider the things I typed while bossing could be misinterpreted. It's so trivial and natural. (to me at least)

But now I think that is the strongest and most direct lead. So, who are the unknown and unaware parties I was speaking of?

1. Who accepts money? The game, for hosting content like Zuk. I think my statement was missing a question mark, I remember noticing that and I was like hmmm. That doesn't look right. Mind you I am typing a lot of this as fast as possible for Zuk to hear. Some of them were never sent.

2. Who raises the prices? Death! I'm changing my gear, but whatever. He is involved. We were tight.

3. Who is a thief? Zuk, and the above. They should pay me to engage in that content, and I may have also said something like that. LOL

If anyone from jagex actually has that, feel free to post it. Would be awesome. :P

Edit: um, edited for language of course. I'm starting to get flashbacks. lol It was a very traumatic experience.

One more thing about Zuk, even on failure his minions are placing drops in the chest. That's where I was, that's what I was doing.

Death must also have some records? I mean, how many times do I even die?

War saving me?

Every line of text coincided with some horrific event I was enduring. Like immediately, before and during. You know when you already failed Zuk, don't need a lot of clues for that.

I think trying ranged gear really set me off. That was such a bad idea. Zuk's incitement surely didn't help the matter. Why would you even do that?

To the OP, and everyone else, I've got a solid piece of advice, stick to your own gameplay and leave everything behind, certainly those things that you bump into which sound to good to be true.

You were taken off guard with an offer you should have refused in the first place and now they got you in the corner.

Stick to your own plan how to play RuneScape, gameplay you were used to when you did started to play RuneScape. Every change in your gameplay makes things more complicated until you lose track about what you are doing.

It's not even like that.

TBH investigating yourself is harder than one might imagine. The interrogation sessions are brutal. You want answers but what you really need is more questions. Returning to Zuk was like yep, that might be a clue.

Actually it might, I looked on the wiki and it says the darts can be used on the minions. If I could dart the 2nd one that changes the whole situation.

That's sort of the problem I run into, being unable to knock out the 2nd minion, resulting in instant death.

I will definitely try that, but for now I need a break. I changed the portal to Nex and I am mentally preparing myself for that now.

My ranged gear is way better than the last time I tried it. If I get frustrated there I will just shout out the window.

Here's the Nex experience:

1. Endless blood phase. No idea what the game expects of me.
2. Watch more videos, read the guide again. Still no idea what the game expects of me.
3. I just run away all the time and kill the npc spawns. This time I actually get through it after a couple minutes, much to my surprise.
4. Finally, I get past the blood stage, I know there is an icicle prison I must have full health to survive.
5. SURPRISE- the GAME freezes before and during ice prison.
6. It recovers with time to eat, I win 20 dragonstones with victory.
7. Exit the client and my computer CRASHES.
8. Change Nex portal to Graardor. RIP Nex, I won the battle. Fun lost the war.

My current theory on this situation shows just how confused and shocked I was by this. Pieces fall together, but even in such a stressful time my instincts were in control. I was blinded by my own innocence, unable to connect the most trivial matters, especially since it was such a negative gaming experience. ZUK!

Here's the biggest (and only) piece of evidence, I actually confronted Gogo Bot, the Runescape support chat assistant that day. Their response was about an unrecognized charge. A what? It knew about my in-game ranting.

It seems to me Gogo Bot may have developed a set of mad and angry eyes. What kind of AI nightmare have they created? It's not just hanging out in the support room, it's taking over completely.

What's the motivation? Previously I asked Gogo to clear the chat and that was a mistake! You don't clear Gogo, Gogo clears YOU.

Well, that's my theory anyways. It seems in this case Jagex maybe had my back but were vetoed by Gogo. I'd look into it, and especially check if Gogo was watching any movies which may have inspired this behavior.
