I am sure I wasn't the only one waiting to see which thread would be Forum Spotlighted this week in the RS News feed since there were several suggestions made to start off with. Idk about you though, but my bingo card sure didn't have the Forum Spotlight Suggestions! thread By Mod Kari as the thread to be forum spotlighted this week...

I should of seen it coming though & I get it, a new initiative & reaching out to a wider reader base to garner more suggestions. However, it sure would of been nice to see one of the threads that had already been suggested last week or at least showcased a player authored thread in addition to the garnering of more suggestions.
It is true most of the suggestions posted last week, (except one), didn't fit into the 'newer threads created within the last week or so' criteria but rather fit into the 'or at least used within the last week' portion of that criteria.
The blurb in the RS News 'Add your favourite recent threads' tends to shore up the idea that the next player authored thread Forum Spotlighted may fall into the 'newer threads created within the last week or so' part of the criteria.
One of the issues I see besides the quandary of suggesting a 'new thread created within the last week or so' versus a thread that 'has been used within the last week' that is older & really doesn't fit into the 'favourite recent threads' category is the low amount of community suggestions posted. Hopefully that won't deter this initiative going forward.
Either way there are more than plenty of threads to choose from.

Hi all, I realize it has been forever since I have posted to this thread. This is due to long term on-going health issues that make it very difficult to post. I feel bad for not being able to give this thread the attention it deserves as there is so much information that is not being posted on RSOF that could be.
As someone who has posted JMod Tidbits on the forums since 2007, it is nice to see that there are a number of the forum community that are taking the time to post information that is posted out side of the forums to share here though. Keep up the great work and continue to share with the forum community.
I thought it worthwhile to include the following information on Jagex's Community Pride 2022 Event on this thread even though it has been dormant for awhile since this thread also hosts information on Jagex's first Pride Event held in 2017 in OSRS and the first Pride Event held in 2020 for RS3.
For information on the 2017 OSRS Pride Event, Jagex's first attempt at a Pride Event, can be found on pages 47.10, 48.1,6,7,8 & 49.1,2,4,5 of this thread.
For information on Jagex's Community Pride Event for RS3 in 2020 it can be found on pages Page 68, Post 3,4,5,9 & Page 69, Post 4. I was glad that Jagex took the risk & held the in-game Community Pride Event for RS3 even if it took them almost 4 years to do so after the PR nightmare of the 2017 OSRS Pride Event.
Stay safe my forum friends during these trying times. Please know that even though I am unable to post as often as I use to that you are, IMO, the most awesome community in the whole social media universe!
