'Lol Winds - I didn't mean to imply a conspiracy.'
--
@Stoat King, lol you didn't, I just used your question as a lead in to post the commentary that reported on what some "conspiracy theorists" were saying about the active user counter.
'First off, calling your intellectual opponents "conspiracy theorists" doesn't help your argument any.' Secondly, these people *actually* have a point.'
--
I am glad you enjoyed that commentary. Thank you.
It is highly doubtful that Stoat King thought for one moment that I was calling him a 'conspiracy theorist' like that first sentence appears to imply though, but rather understood that I was using the question asked as a lead in to a commentary. Tbh, I don't think anyone else thought that I was directing that commentary towards Stoat King either.

'You seriously can not tell me, with a straight face, that that is "Forum engagement'
--
It may appear that you might have lost sight of the one of the purposes of this thread, otherwise you would have known that, IMO, that example would not appear to fall into the realm of forum engagement.
Your example spotlights that no matter what forum section someone uses the data tends to support that when it comes to forum engagement in any forum section, (including the Foreign Language forums), they all appear to get the short end of the stick.
---
'Face the reality- the Forums aren't what they used to be, and given this is what our "Forum engagement specialist" is doing, it's not looking like it's going to EVER be back to that previous point.'
--
It would not be the first time that the RSOF community has had its hopes raised by those three little words, 'forum engagement specialist'. Nor has it been the first time that it has been implied that certain Jmods would be a 'forum engagement specialist' where their primary focus would be on the forums either.
In the end, the title held isn't one of a 'forum engagement specialist' as implied, but rather a generic title like community manager.
The data presented on post 21.7, (titled NUMBERS), tends to indicate that the RSOF supports a vibrant community even today. After all, RSOF has more threads being created & more posts being made to it than Reddit does.
1. Solomon's General Store
2. Treasure Hunter
3. Roleplaying - In-Game
4. Forum Games
5. Forum Roleplay and Stories
An entire subboard specifically directed at Clans (no, not CLF)
AND An entire subboard dedicated to a Marketplace?
Note how in none of your screenshots did any of these show. Therefore, you're still comparing apples to oranges and you still have no case. As I said, give me more in-depth analyses and I'll entertain your argument.'
---
It appears that you are so bent on 'winning an argument' that (for the most part appear to be promoting the use of Reddit over the use of RSOF) that it appears that you are grasping at straws now.
Just because the screenshots that I provided didn't show the above referenced topics being discussed does not mean that those topics haven't been discussed on Reddit. To believe otherwise is, well, a bit nonsensical on your part. I suggest that you use the search feature on Reddit the next time you are there.
It also appears that you may be implying that Reddit only consists of its homepage where the threads are posted too.
"Firstly, the Forums are primarily supported by players, of which some are Community Helpers - dedicated players with expert knowledge in certain support areas. Where necessary they can escalate threads to the attention of a JMod, to ensure the player gets the best possible experience. The majority of customers however get the help they need by visiting our support centre: https://support.runescape.com/hc/en-gb."

@Windsofnight, I don't know where you're aiming at??
What are you trying to prove, that you're a cucumber and that we have to paint you green but a cucumber is already green??
To be honest Jagex does continue at Reddit with the same sytem they have enfold on The RSOF and it's good to hear they don't make a difference there then they do here.
I don't know what you're trying to do but it certainly attracts a negative atmosphere here in Websites & Forums.
Jagex's Customer Support is working well enough into all directions for any Regular Player.
Well, bless your heart, google can be your friend sometimes. Well paint me green and call me a cucumber, is a saying, a phrase, that is a milder variant of a good ol' fashioned Southern (USA) colloquialism. Using that phrase as a post title fit the content of the post. Hope that helps.

Weekly Ninja Teaser, Qfc 373-374-357-65649318
"Each week we'll be bringing you a new image for a peek into our upcoming Ninja Fixes! Make sure to check back every week for a sneaky look into what to expect in future Patch Notes!"
Folks are checking back every week just in case anyone may be wondering if they were.
The last ninja teaser was posted on 03 Nov 2016 that was a quick combat team teaser, which was fine. It appears that the community didn't have any issues with that.
Prior to that, the last teaser appears to be dated 19 Oct 2016. It appears that ninja team teaser type information has not been posted to that thread since then. The last 6 or so pages of that thread indicates that the community has noticed that & it appears that they are beginning to wonder if that thread has been abandoned or if the thread is in need of a title change.
It does appear that ninja team teaser type information is being released regularly via Twitter & Reddit (since then) & that type of information doesn't appear to be making its way to the official forums.

: [–]JagexKelpieMod Kelpie 3 points 28 days ago: Hey. Thanks for the post. I have passed on feedback that next time we would prefer to have single posts per suggestion. As you have provided a big list of ideas we have no idea which ones people really see as a priority over everything else, and that's really why I wanted to do this when it was suggested. Therefore we went over some of the list but not everything as we wanted to get onto other people's posts.
A lot of combat suggestions here that we will need to pass over to the combat council to discuss. We can take a look into the RuneMetrics stuff, speaking with the team who maintain it.
The grouping system is meant to work like that as it can put you with another group and there can't be multiple leaders. Thank you.
