Sad day for the whole Forum Community and Yes it had a Community.

I, Tuffty of W23 Fan Club, ask that Jagex don't remove the forums

Jagex abandoning the Forums like Classic and Funorb has been a big mistake.

Not everyone uses Discord, Twitter or Redit or others. We ALL used the Forums as they were a fun place to have some fun and meet and greet new people.

Now were forced to use Discord, Twitter or Redit or others. Not for Me thank you.

1 thing is Ill go down in history with having the most posts. That will be my legacy. :P

Long Live The Forums. May 4th 2005 to January 24.
Comprehensive Account Security
Live long and Prosper...... :P

I, Etnies00, ask that Jagex don't remove the forums. I rarely login but I use the forums regularly for information I can't find elsewhere, for penguin and star hunting and quest help.
I do not subscribe to any of the options listed as replacements

I would hate to see these forums removed.. As mentioned already the other platforms to provide feedback are not only less convenient but the overall impression of feedback is harder to engage with.

When an update I dislike is released, I often see the discord 'reaction' engagement and then the flow of comments and it's hard to really express or consider what is being said without creating threads - something they don't currently support (at least on the OSRS discord).
I then take myself here, often offline, then gage the response from the carefully crafted threads.

Sure, you always have the odd troll about who makes it their job to leave mundane comments on every thread to further their post count but the overall importance cannot be understated regardless to leave feedback on this website itself.
I think the only fair way to remove these forums is if you find a method to integrate discord into this website and permit threading. That way, sure, you need to use a 3rd party platform login, but it at very least is provided on this website itself rather than a separate app or 3rd party platform directly.

Ideally I'd prefer to see a rejuvenation on here than a discontinuation, but surely you can at least permit it to stay up at very least?

Noooo dont do it. I much prefer the forums to other methods of finding info. Reddit is disorganised, discord is dysfunctional and I am massively anti twitter. Just because people don't login to the forums doesn't mean they are not using them all the time

I Evel of Runiters would like the forums to stay open ,

even if you scale down some areas and keep the informational threads open.
