I've posted more in-depth reasoning (278-279-148-66293404) but the RS forums is the only place I'm willing to discuss RS maturely after trying the other 3 places.

Our clan has maxed out 30 threads (31th thread already has 1k bumps) with bumps and that's a bump only when the thread would fall out of first page, many many many years of effort will be killed :/

Younger generation may like discord or reddit to get info but not everyone, even if some parts of the runescape forums are dead, please don't touch the clan recruitment areas and just leave them here. It's impossible that jagex don't have money to keep just a tiny part of forums alive.
