I don't think you and me are mods, right? We can't see.
We obviously are not moderators, but I am asking you, where is the clean up that you speak of? You said that you "think" some mod did a clean up in Community Led Technical Support and I am wondering, where is this?

In different forums including the Community Led Technical Support Forum.

We don't have to go very far away from this Website and Forums forum, there is already one such obviously technical post that has been duplicated in many forums regarding login attempts in THIS VERY forum. :D

Presuming you're going on about error 15 and too many log in attempts, I don't get how these are technical issues.

They're policy issues from Jagex, it isn't a persons computer misbehaving, it's Jagex's systems working as designed.

As such, what is there to fix? They're in the website forums because people are having actual discussion about something that isn't a technical problem, in a place heavily relevant for it given the error 15 problem in particular is only going to show on the website.

We already know you can swap browsers and use vpns and bla bla bla, what we want is Jagex's responses.

There is no clean up to be found on the Community Led Technical Support sub-forum since your post yesterday, as you claimed here on Page 2, Post 4 ;) :

I think some mod did quite a bit of clean up of duplicated and grave bumped resolved or abandoned threads in the Community Led Technical Support Forum since my post yesterday though. I is a start. :)

How is this Website and Forum related when the login attempt issues affect the game and not the website and forum? Besides, such threads exist in the Community Led forums already Why do we need so many duplicated ones all over different forums?

Hey, Hmm. I'm sure that OP knows how this system works, according to their post below ^_^ :
Original message details are unavailable.
I think this is more to protect certain specific accounts from hacking rather.

Jagex has explained in many occasions about the nature of the "too many login attempts" temp login disable mechanisms. It has absolutely nothing to do with loading. It is just to protect our accounts from malicious attempts. It doesn't mean your account is being hacked. :)

How is "I can't login to the website" and "the website keeps throwing error codes" not a website issue?

It's not a technical issue because nothing is misbehaving, so logically it's either a website issue because it's happening on the website too, or a general topic, because it's not a technical issue.

This proves my point, things go into the community led forums to be ignored, not to be helped.

OK. If threads are either removed or hidden or locked then they don't exist to you, then it is fine to me. There is no point to talk about it as it is not the key point of my thread anyway.

Again, my thread is about the uselessness and forums users including helpers ignoring the existence of the designated Community Led forums and therefore Jagex should take the proper actions like apply the same forum rules to these forums or just declare their uselessness and have them removed.

Please re-read that post again. OP was complaining about login issue and the login timer in the game obviously, and he was making another thread because he didn't hear from Support. There is no login timer and too many login attempt in the forum AFAIK. :D

I think I know how it works, and the website and forum never have a login timer and gives us a "too many login attempt" message as the thread we are using as an example.

It's indeed related to your thread because you are focusing on misplaced threads. Furthermore, you claimed that a mod did a clean up a day after you posted this thread and I am trying to figure out where this clean up is. It's nowhere to be found on the sub-forum that you mentioned, so this is a false claim. If a thread is hidden or locked, we are able to see the hidden notification and the locked thread. I fail to find those threads that were cleaned up by the moderator that you claimed that did it.

Sometimes, the Forum Moderator helping may forget to move the thread. It also happens to Community Helpers. The reason being is that they are focused on helping the player at hand. If it becomes an issue, then the members of the community are more than welcome to nudge a Forum Moderator (or CM, for that matter) to have the thread moved to the correct sub-forum. Whenever I see a misplaced thread, I report it to Forum Help and if I could somehow access my reports there, I'd be more than happy to share them here. Most of my reports in Forum Help are related to misplaced threads. If only an F-Mod were able to confirm this :P .

If it gets to a point where you believe that it is getting out of hand -- other than, of course, creating a thread like this one to raise the issue -- you should use Forum Help, if you so desire, to momentarily alleviate the issue until Jagex addresses it, if required.
