I'm not sure if you'll read this thread again, Grumpy but there has been an update on the Tech Support and the Website Login Failure has been mentioned. This is what was said: - Current Technical Issues

"
Problem
:
Some players are currently experiencing issues when trying to login to the RuneScape or Jagex account services pages.

Workaround
:
At the moment there's no current workaround which will guarantee a successful login to the RuneScape website. If you're wanting to check your messages, login to the RuneScape lobby and hit 'Messages' from the home.

If you need to manage your account, please get in touch with our 24/7 Account Security Team via email at
rs_accounthelp@jagex.***

Thanks Epicus,

My main is unable to access the inbox messages from in game, as that is part of the issue.
It takes me to the pw screen (which it shouldn't do), which simply refreshes to the main page, so that part of the Jmod's advice is not correct I'm afraid.

My main now has 4 inbox messages I cannot read. :(

why cant i read my own post after it got hidden ?
i dont get offended by something i put there myself lol

I've always wondered that too. Sometimes it would be useful to see your own post on threads that are on autohide for example, and as you point out, if it was rulebreaking anyway, it's not going to harm the person who wrote it to see it.

Would also be useful if we could edit autohidden posts.

However, as with most things, I suspect this is harder than it seems. The forums may not be able to easily distinguish the group of "all regular posters" from "yourself" in regards to regular posts.

True that. One can't help but dream!
