South
, the fmods have been good at telling people where to actually post. I think it's fine, since it precludes redundant work for everyone (re-posting, re-reading).

I'm not sure how things work in terms of documentation, from the fmod end, but fmod decisions can still happen without reports on Forum Help so I don't think that's an issue either.

And I don't mind people posting fmod assistance requests here since it only further validates this thread's suggestion.

It's sad to see people who apparently want to make the community a better place resort to flaming less experienced users of that community. Multiple posts have been hidden because of this.

I have edited the title of this thread from 'Forum Help' to 'Forum Help ideas' in order to reduce confusion.

I am well aware that some people may object to this, but frankly the smooth running of the forums is more important than allowing the confusion to continue just to make a point.

Thanks for the title change, Arch. And by the way, the OP very clearly states that this is a suggestion thread and that those seeking fmod assistance should click on the link therein.

Right now this thread still shows up when you search for "Forum Help" when the actual sticky doesn't, but people might not think to click on this and be able to use its redirect, now that the title has been changed.

If anyone has any title suggestions--so that the title of the thread (in addition to the first few sentences) ALSO conveys that this isn't the sticky, AND so that people will click on it when they're looking for the sticky--please share them!

Am struggling to come up with one myself that fits within the character limit :P
