Now to play devils advocate...

When something is reported to forum help, that is what is being reviewed not the entire thread, the f-mod in question depending on how busy they are may go back and read a few pages of posts. If they're really busy doing other things along with foruming, which was typically the case when I was on the team, I'd multitask. You're summoned to deal with "X post on X thread" depending on who's report it is, I'd fix it and move along, if I knew X person had or has a history of being a catalyst, I'd delve deeper into it, as yes sometimes you can find the ignition point that pushed someone over the edge while their mittens look all sweet and innocent.

The code of conduct can't get much more relaxed than it currently is without just giving permission to just do whatever. Now if they're muted or banned from the forums it's like a badge of honor. I'll either A hop accounts and continue being a tool, or B it's I'll go do something else and be back in the forums in no time to start acting a fool again.

The problem is User A can be any random person who visits the forum. Thousands of them. User B behaves like that daily, and most likely summoned a moderator to the thread.

If User A reports, the mods will naturally disagree. User B's can also be known to taunt User A's with the lack of moderation against them. Go ahead and report.

Other people see this.

Vague ... extremely vague. The only ones that believe such crap ...
If you do not wish to support the messenger but rather kill the messenger than itis time to stop.

The message and 'Summary of Issue' in Forum Help are clear messages, hardly to be misunderstood. If you refuse to back up said player than say so but do not spew soo much crap.

I see the problem with User A. They just don't agree with the Fmod and they don't respect the FH procedure.

They were many situations I didn't agree with the Fmods, but I respected the FH procedure. The problem is the current FH procedure though. When there were FMR we could have Jmods to go over issues, but now we can only accept what FMod(s) told us so with anything within the forums. However, if things go way pass the line of the judgement of whoever handling the forums, then I still respect the rulings of the forums and don't argue with them, and take my issues to the other channels where they belong better.

So what change I think we need: bring back FMR.

FMR is gone and won't be coming back.

We also miss it but it was doing no good with months on end reports and when they were answered no one could remember what was reported.

Forum Help now at least gets a reply within no time at all. Which is far better then the old system ever was.

I disagreed. FMR was at least a one way communication between the players and Jmods even when Jmods didn't respond.

Just scream into a pillow instead. There's your FMR.

@Miu

I don't know if you are screaming and what pillow, but I am just making a suggestion to the forum as this thread suggests.

@everybody else

To be more precise, my suggestion is FMR doesn't have to be returned in its previous form. Most businesses and even government offices serving a big community have some sorts of boxes collecting opinions, comments, complaints about their services. Nobody actually from such businesses/governments actually respond to any of such comments from customers, but those opinion boxes must be important to the businesses/governments or they won't be there, right?

So what about instead of FMR, we have something similar or call it Forum User Opinion thread, and we don't expect Jmods to respond to any of the opinions? Remember, previously FMR has a "what do you suggest" question at the end? What I suggested is more on the constructive "what do you suggest" side.
