Both you and Morgan are feeding off the fact that if something is capable of being dangerous that it must be eliminated. Guess what? Humans have killed more people and animals than any other creature on Earth, humans have even put many animals into extinction. It's no different thinking in that perspective than saying what you said, hell parents have killed their kids before so obviously the parents were a threat to the child, in fact they must have been trying to murder the kid by letting him into the cage, right? It's ignorant as hell to think how both of you are doing.

The fact of the matter is that the gorilla showed zero signs of aggression, period. The handlers did a piss poor job of considering their options. There is no reason what so ever that anything should have died. It would've been a hell of a lot different if the gorilla was showing hostility but it wasn't. Not a single person has "prioritized" the gorilla over the child, anyone who thinks that is a complete fucking buffoon.

Animals are unpredictable. Period. You can't argue with that.

You don't know how the gorilla would've reacted had they tried to tranq him. One wrong move by that gorilla could've resulted in that kid being crushed or badly wounded, even if the gorilla didn't want to.

I think you're a "buffoon" for saying that I want things that are dangerous to be eliminated. But don't think for a second that I'm gonna side with the life of that dangerous thing if an innocent child happens to be in that cage.

And I'm gonna say this again, had they tried to take the civil route and it went wrong and something happened to that child live on camera, public opinion would've been VERY different now.

It stems from a culture of unmoral and indifferent, selfish, and spoiled people who have no sanctity of life. They don't bat an eye when soldiers or cops or unborn babies are killed, yet cry over a dangerous gorilla who could have easily killed that child.
Pretty sad what has became of people.

sure life is precious, it was a sarcastic comment, like most on this thread, but if it upsets you that much, then take it out on the humans, they are the ones at fault, and all life is equally precious, not just those in the western world that you so care about you up yourself righteous jerk, care about all life not just that in the west and i might one day even have the smallest amount of care for your small minded opinion
