The dumbass parents shouldn't have been hanging the kid over the fence; he wouldn't have fallen in. There's no way in hell that the kid just wandered in there on his own, because those captivities have walls around them. I mean do people seriously think there are holes that large for something to just casually walk through? Those captivities also have signs all over them telling people to not go past the railing. The gorilla was clearly trying to protect the kid from the gorilla handler. If the gorilla was trying to hurt the kid, it would've only taken one swipe or fist slam to kill him.

The gorilla did absolutely nothing wrong. This entire 'story' was bullshit. The parents should've been put in jail and had the kid taken away from them for child endangerment. I'm not particularly an animal person, but I flat out hate the ignorance of the human species.

The gorilla did appear to be protecting the kid, but he was still dragging him around in the water. He could have been seriously injured if the gorilla kept dragging him. They definitely should have removed all the screaming people from the area, though. That was probably the reason the gorilla seemed to be protecting him. Maybe if the people weren't there, he wouldn't have been moving around and dragging the kid with him.

yea but this species of gorilla has a tendancy to go crazy in a split second out of nowhere, so it's hard to predict wtf woulda happened if they attempted a more civil route.
