And I guess I can part a note, if anyone is looking to get abs. It's very hard to get abs, the fat over your stomach is one of the last things to be burned. It has to be diet, diet, diet, instead of straight out abs workouts.

I read a tip about decline bench with empty bar and doing crunches with it, I can vouch for it :)

I'd think doing decline crunches would be alot more comfortable with a plate than with an olympic bar lol, I would just use a 20kg plate instead.

Problem is it's hard to hug a 20 plate, a 5 plate and a 2.5 plate!
Again, nether.

Yep what we see as abs, generally the ones in magazines/pictures/ect, take about 2 weeks of a strenuous diet to even get picture quality. We think abs stay forever, but the reason we see more pictures is due to the diet prior, otherwise we'd see everyone low in bf% with it. I looked into it when I was in highschool, the diet is mainly a deadly low carb diet, things that create gas/air buildup aren't allowed, if you haven't experience it yourself. (when I say deadly low, I'm talking under 50g total carbs LOW, chewing gum is forbidden as well.)

As for the workouts, again back during highschool it was an obvious goal of mine, I would wake up every morning doing 200 normal crunches, 50 reverse, 60 "wake" crunches (can't remember the real name, but I often called them this), 50 thrusts (don't remember name, but hold bottom of couch/bed with your arms, straighten your body out, don't think this is good for your spine however.) and finish with spartans burnout (to say least it's normal+reverse at the same time, till failure) After doing this all of my entire junior/senior year I never did result in any abs, but to this day I still have muscle memory. I'm able to flex due to this, but because of my bf% I'm unable to ever see it, again it's definitely as you say...diet diet diet.

As for decline bench, what happened to good ol dumbbells? :P

Haha glad I could share, I too have frozen slices to just snack on!

Also, to save some cash, buy the ones on discount that are starting to brown, as freezing them won't let them age for a good while! (buy in bulk and you'll save by not having to go to a market every two weeks!)
