I'm not getting the badge issue though (haven't tried in opera as yet). There is something odd though, and Linkify doesn't seem to like the un-named Jmod.
Edit: Oh I missed something, the sparkle effect on badge hover is happening but not the badge flip.
I'll look into it today and sort out a way to handle that situation.

Although come to think of it, I seem to remember the purple icon flipping over in post preview or edit.. I'm on my phone at the moment so can't check that just yet

First little update for 2016 version: 3.1.9.24
I hoped to get this out earlier but it took me a bit longer than I expected to recover from new years eve
It seems the un-nammed Jmod now has a name. So I'm unsure if my fix for the badge is working. The badge flip when previewing a post has always been a bit off since those pages don't even accommodate badges (no clue why it's that way). The new changes I have made mean Linkify wont attempt to put a badge there either.
Tbh I think forum badges should display under all avatars, however for now (for the sake of simplicity) I have made it so they wont appear on edit/preview pages. I may change this later because I prefer some consistency.
Brackets in URLs should now linkify as expected. The linkify routine was purposely strict after the forum re-skin because of the ability to embed malicious code in the new forum tags and I made it so linkify would not allow that. Since then some security holes in the forums have been patched and I'm relaxing things slowly.
I have some other more interesting things coming soon. The forum bookmark/history is something I started last year and is something I'm keen to finish. No ETA as yet but I have the basics working and it's looking pretty nice so far. I might post some screenies later
