Tbh I haven't considered a permanent option for the theme. Prior the forum re-skin it was really impractical so I just put the idea out of my head.

However it's much easier to do now and I think I've got it to perform reasonable well (very little flickering between images on load).

I guess what I'm saying is, if there is enough interest in keeping it as option (I'd like that for no other reason than I put loads of hours into this) and it performs well enough, then I can't see why not. But I wont commit just as it's too early.

Oh and Happy Halloween

Edit: I forgot to mention version 3.1.8.99 is the most recent update. If neatens up some graphical stuff that wasn't lining up properly.
