I didn't account for session ID being removed/incorrect (perhaps incorrect from a saved bookmark is my guess) from the URL when a user is logged in, as I use that as a part of confirming what settings to load.

So it caused an issue, not reading the saved "has played state" of the video.

Was a quick fix but chrome only checks for extension updates every few hours.

It's all a part of the learning process I guess.
