I've just notified her of the issue with her post
I had to laugh, not at the errors, we all make them. But it was the fact the first person post has the display name HTML and made no mention of the broken post.
Just gonna post this here and close the forums, don't like posting here any more:

the bold tags around Rodney Cousens gives it a clickable alog link... Not sure if that's intended with the new
b
tags or not.

A few posts down on the same page I tried to plain text quote "Hate"s quote inside "ohhhs" message, and it gave "ohhh" as the OP, I know that functionality came much later originally, but I'm not sure if it's supposed to be back.
I have a feeling the quote boundary changed with the forum update we had earlier, because making a selection extends well beyond the quote. That wasn't happening before. I can fix that easily though.
That other quote that's not a quote that Linkify thinks is a quote because it is a quote container is just as messy as it sounds. But I will add some checks to verify it's a real quote and that should take care of that.

I don't know what or even if anything in particular has happened to make you feel that way. But your contributions throughout the forums will be missed, as will your company. I respect what ever choice you make in regard to posting, but it sucks that something has made you feel that way

I posted my feedback on the forum indicators.

My feedback
I appreciate where you are coming from. The thing is where this works (and it doesn't always work) is on forums that are built around that idea. I don't think it can be implemented in these forums and serve the desired purpose. However I do think it could be made to work on a dedicated sub forum.
The question is what is being rated? These forums are not just about information, they are as much about opinions. A +1 rating an opinion is just an opinion about an opinion. It's not a measure of accuracy, quality, and it's not really informative. Aside from that, it does the opposite of promoting discussion.
I made a post on different thread explaining it in a little more detail and offering a rough outline of how it could work. It can be found
here

Not sure if you'll agree but I'm curious to hear what you think
