Hiya Cyanid, I get that it can be hard to find the name you want. However when I tried a drop down list of names it was worse, 150(ish) names in a list that extended to the bottom of the page, made it harder to find the colour.
The colours are in order of lightness, but any order (hue, saturation, hex, etc) looks similar in that they are mixed up.
Here you can re-order colours and see what I mean. See order by name, hue, saturation, etc.

I'd rather add options to re-order the colour table (by name, hue, saturation, etc) than add more methods of input. In the new year, I'll take a closer look into it
