I do plan on re-doing it, I'm just holding off for now because google are changing their policy for chrome extensions. The changes mean multiple features within an extension need to be broken up and installed separately.

I'm not sure how the policy change will affect me, and I wont know until they implement the changes. So until then I'm not building anything major into my app.

I really hope I don't have to make a separate extensions for certain options. I can't determine how I fit into the "single purpose policy"

Anyway short answer to your question is no, the code for the split screen has been removed for now. Hopefully I'll be able implement it (with some tweaks) again soon :)

I can do both, I have recently started looking into a fire fox version and that's what I'd like to do next. The google policy I discussed earlier has made me already start on a fire fox version.

The source is viewable like Meredith said, but I'll be putting a copy on my site soon that will be better commented.

I don't know if anyone else would find it useful, but I frequently find it annoying I can't access the HLFs from the Forums menu tab. So I made an extension that does this:

If you added it, you could be less lazy than I was and make it so people can choose the forums they want to display there, but I defaulted to what I would use, while preserving what is normally there. I also didn't feel like weighing the merits of cycling through and generating the list versus the simpler pre-written block, so I went with the latter. It is currently designed to only show up if you're logged in (since you wouldn't be going to the HLFs while logged out anyway).

If you have any interest in adding it, how should I send it to you?
