Avatar Changes

Avatar codes are going through a change, very soon the qfc system will break.

When this RS-Linkify (moved) thread gets eaten by the page 51 monster, avatar codes will not work.

A new system is in place but I'd like a few people to use it before I force it upon everyone. This way I can get feedback, and make improvements if needed.

There are some advantages to the new system.
- Less characters used.
- Invisible to both RS-Linkify users and non users.
- It doesn't show in text area like signatures do
- It's added to posts on submit
- You character limit is adjusted before hand so there is always room for your code.

To use the new system simply do this....
(Make sure you have version 2.0.7.4 or higher)

That's all there is to using the new system, I'd really like to hear what you think of it, and if there are any problems. Since old codes will break I figure this is the best way to future proof them.

It will be much appreciated to hear back from anyone who tries this new system

Idk if this would be possible for you to do in any way, but just an idea:

On the GTA forums (and many others), the list of the forums are right beside where you post. (on the left)

EG:

There is so much unused space on right/left side of the rs forums.

Thanks Aby, Looks like mini avatars work with new system.

Keighlea, made a suggestion similar to that some time ago. It's definitely possible and I will (eventually) work on it.
