Seems like something broke in the middle of the update for me.
Hmmm, not sure what's going on there, so I'll start by asking some questions.
I assume that page is viewing posts by user (that's what it looks like to me)....
Does it only happen when viewing posts by user?
Does it always happen when viewing posts by user?
If I'm mistaken and that image is not posts by user, I have sligtly different questions...
Does it happen while viewing any thread, and does it happen 100% of the time?
Are there cases where it doesn't happen?
If possible, with RS Linkify running can you include
[
version info]
tag somewhere in your post. That will help with my process of elimination to narrow this down.
If you can't us RS Linkify at all then disregard the [v
ersion info] tag. If you can confirm your RS Linkify version is 3.1.9.59 and also post your chrome version that would be great.

That's how it was looking for me on larger posts, that I briefly mentioned in previous post, I ought to have shown one like that tbh + I'd forgotten what that tag was specifically, was trying to remember, thanks for reminder
It was always and only that page for me (regardless of thread)
It stopped happening after I updated to 3.1.9.59 though
Linkify wasn't updated, that's why, so the problem's fixed now. I wonder though, is there any way to force an update instead of uninstall and reinstalling? I can't seem to find it anywhere.

Thanks Amaethwr, I assumed it was fixed after the update, but I never saw that happen to begin with. I only noticed something had changed on the forums because things weren't being linkified.
Fortunately I knew where to look because I suspected avatars to change and point to runemetrics, and that's exactly where the problem stemmed from. Though they missed some bits so I'll probably go through all this again when they eventually realise.

I tried doing that but for some reason it wouldnt update it. I had to redl it from store. Oh well at least its fixed now.
Usually, nothing happens when you press "update extension", aside from the cluster of numbers next to "RS Linkify" - which change to the new version number. There's no spinning icon, or even confirmation that anything happened, the only way to check if to cross check from Indy's post on this thread. She usually (always?) posts when a new version is able to be force updated by a user.
Once that's happened, you have to refresh the RS page(s) in question, they won't change/fix themselves unless you do so.

Yea but for some reason not even the numbers would update and kept saying the older version. So had to redl it.

Did you actually check to see if it was fixed after clicking the update button by reloading the page? Because it doesn't sound like you did.
