Oh, I don't plan to permanently quit anytime soon, just getting to the point where I would just play "very casually" while spending a lot of IRL time for other activities and things IRL (concerts, parties, events, etc.).
Once I moved in with my girlfriend and having a full time job its pretty hard to keep up with Runescape as much. I tried doing it for a long time because I had comp cape and wanted to make sure I'd never lose it. Over time though it started to become extremely hard and I eventually just quit Runescape. I'm slowly trying to make a comeback on OSRS. I'll see how that works out.
@Socalldhero
I wish you the best in OSRS. I have played a bit in there, but it didn't keep my interest going as I've seen most of it in my high school and early college days (I mean before RS3). The only content are the OSRS exclusive stuff but as of now I'm just not as interested in that as compared to RS3.
Well, I'd like to keep much as much as I can while it lasts. I guess it won't last forever so I will enjoy it in the meantime while I still can.
For others, I do have two questions for the future.
1) Regarding time-gated content in the future, how would I go about it without neglecting it or falling completely behind?
2) Group requirements like PvM bosses or content that requires more than just one player to start or successfully complete, how should I go about this? (I think about this quite a bit since in the past I often have shitty Internet connection so that would make PvM a nightmare or nearly impossible. When I move from my apartment to somewhere else, I can't guarantee I'd have just as good of a Internet connection (or better or worse). )
