Late April bump, please do read page 9, posts 5-8 as I've put quite a bit of time to write those out. It should reflect my most recent course of action with the upcoming months in RS.

I have changed my mind about recomping once more. I somehow have a thirst for trim comp.

I dread PvM related challenges and reqs the most, simply because I suck at doing it effectively, and yesterday while I managed a 100% Telos kill, and Memory of Nomad kill (which was intense). I am not getting any younger and the requirements are going to keep coming. I'm only hoping to get to trim before there comes a day (whenever that is) in which I won't ever be able to trim (e.g. Telos v2, Rax v2, and other hard shit, etc.). Then the next dreaded content is of course long term, time gated content (you guessed it, CW profound armor set and stuff). I'd rather do that than PvM almost any other day.

Imagine doing all that while being less able bodied or slower reaction, etc. or things getting even more trickier and having a more difficult time to do so effectively. I would want to delay/dodge another Telos-esque requirement if/whenever I can.

I suppose I will keep up as much as I can until I get trim for the first time. After that I won't actively maintain it. Since comp is a subset of trim, I would only go as far as maintaining it for the sake of trimming just one, even as brief as 1 day. Once that is done, I won't actively maintain it over the course of months or years.

Man...you're a pro! mqc n comp tbh you got trim in the bag!. You shouldn't dread group pvm there are a lot of people who'll help you out from letting you leech or pvming with players with bad internet (you have some options). As for castle wars, that req is pretty much afk you really don't have to do much just stand there, I read they may remove that requirement or change it not entirely sure on that though.

Personally I don't think maintaining trimmed comp will be hard for you if you managed to get mqc, that cape is more troublesome to get imo

Thanks for the encouragement! :) I've been playing for many many years and as far as PvM is concerned, yeah I think mid-level to some high-level bosses won't be as worrisome for me, but of course now that I'm currently at my permanent home rather than away at uni, my Internet is more latent, thus would affect it. My worst fear though is having to deal with another Telos-like boss now that I'm not getting any younger nor is my Internet as good as it was when I was away from home. Even with the good Internet, I just barely succeeded, so I at the least hope that I get trimmed (not maintaining) at least once before another Telos v2.0 comes out.

Thanks, and yeah, I think it will be a longer grind (mostly due to Cwars requirement - anywhere between 400-1200 hours depending on whether I win all games, gotten enough enhancers, a mix of thaler grinding, etc.), but I believe as long as I get more done over time versus the amount of content coming out, then I would confidently achieve trim (someday).
