Has anyone actually got a strike yet?

Yup several have been given out.

No one will ever hear of any strikes being given out because the only people who know are the people who have received them.

When someone has received a strike, I send a message to them via RuneScape inbox notifying them that they've received one and what for.

I have all the strikes that I've; given out, the reason why, the date issued, etc. on a separate document for my personal records. The system is working quite well :)

Figured I'd repost this here as Lee can comment then.

You really should be ashamed, you didn't even follow the strike system.
Not only did you only hide one of my posts (1 strike), you didn't actually warn me. Even if a second strike was given, you banned me for 72 hours (not 48 hours) and I apparently also got a mute in game?

The fact I am now back on these forums without being maxed shows you obviously made a mistake so the least I expect is an apology (not happening) or some free div xp.


^ This was aimed at the mod who banned me but figured it'd be worth posting here as he clearly admitted going against this system? What's the point if the people with power are going to ignore it?

Glad to see something like this finally exists. I feel it should probably be more harsh, because not everything will be caught, but this is definitely better than it used to be. This is definitely a step in the correct direction, thanks.

Q:: what other Jagex Moderators think about your strike system?
BTW because you are not 24/7 online there "sometimes" other jmods who lock+hide the forums thread. will the players get strike if it break your forums rules?
