You've done a great job on this one Lee, thank you! :)

I think every one of these guidelines is completely reasonable, and will only work towards making the HLF a better environment for everybody. Too much toxin has seeped into this community over the years with the lax rules and Jagex turning a blind eye to pretty much everything that goes on here.

There are a lot of amazing people in here and a few bad apples should not spoil the bunch!

Nice, but I would like to see you hand out strikes more often, there's so many people breaking one or more of those rules and yet nothing happens. I know the forums are active and it's hard for one person to take care of everything, but it's your job after all, and you get paid for it. You also asked to take the responsibility yourself, no one asked you to do it, so there's no excuses. You even have people helping you detect rule breakers, so it shouldn't be so hard, right?

I may have the 'troll' image, but whenever I report a post and/or a thread you just seem to ignore it and do nothing, even though the report is completely legit, and action should be taken. Why is that? I'm clearly pointing out rule breakers, so why don't you do anything about it?

Honestly, I've known you for years and I really like you, but you're probably the worst curator we've had on hlf yet. You've really done nothing so far, sure you've banned about 3 people but only because you were pressured into it. You let waaaaay too many people get away with breaking the rules, so what's the point in having you here? It's the same as having a random jmod come by every once in a while to ban the people he happens to see breaking the rules.

How many times does one have to break the rules before you give them a strike? Those rules are a joke because breaking them does nothing. The only time you take action is when everyone in the forum is putting pressure on you. I would like to use Makaveli as an example, even though he's my friend, I think you should have banned him way earlier. Why did you allow him to get away with it for so long? My point is that you have to be more strict.

I would really like you to answer this, whether it's in the thread or through my ingame inbox.

Edit: I'm sorry if I sound angry, and I tried not to make the post offensive, but I really hope that you consider this. Don't let yourself become a joke of a Jmod, learn to be more strict.

Finally some real actions that will make this place bearable to read. Too many threads posted all leading to the same boring stuff.

Good luck with the process.

Edit: Hopefully proper threads will be moved into the correct locations instead of all in the general half.

Ran out of characters in my previous post after the edit, so I'll continue here...

Ban a few people, show others that breaking the rules actually DOES lead to a ban. Just take a look at off topic, I can point out at least 5 threads on the first page that are breaking your rules in one way or another. Are you going to do anything about it? Are you going to strike the people breaking the rules? Probably not.

I will gladly take a strike myself if I break the rules, as long as you make it fair for everyone. I'm sure everyone said the same thing before you banned Makaveli. You banned him, but let all the others get away with doing just the same thing as him. Why? It was 50 people against him, but they were all adding fuel to the fire, so why not ban all of them, including myself? You only banned him because all those people were putting pressure on you, and that's a sign of bad moderation. You should learn to take your own decisions and do what's right, not because others tell you to do it.

Sorry, but I'm just not impressed by your moderation so far.

Quoting your OP...

Here are a list of things that will warrant you a strike;

1) Naming and Shaming
2) Severe spamming
3) Persistent and intentional trolling, flaming, de-railing or baiting
4) Purposely arguing with another player (Arguments that aren't relevant to the topic of discussion and is a fight between players)

I'm sorry, but do you even read the forums lol? If you already gave all the people breaking those rules a strike, them I'm sorry, but do posts like this serve any purpose? They are spam, aren't they? You see this way too often in almost every thread.

Are you going to do anything about it? If yes, then that's good, if not, then edit your op and remove rule #2. You can see it's the SAME people quoting the post over and over again, without adding anything to it, is this not severe spamming? I can guarantee you that those people are CONSTANTLY spamming. Will you give them a strike?

Ok, I just maxed out my second post too, time to make a third.

I suggest you start spending at least a couple of hours reading the forums every day, or let someone else moderate the forums. You're awful. Start enforcing your rules or get out.

I'm really fed up with this, I'll behave if I see a reason to do so. I feel that I can do whatever I want, be as offensive to people as I want and still nothing happens, so why should I stop? Give me a strike if I break a rule, do it to everyone else and make it fair to everyone. That's the way to go.

Why do you make new threads about the forum rules every day if you're not going to enforce them or do anything about it lol.

I think this is the first time in my 3 years on this forum that I've spent so long making long posts to get my point across, don't disappoint me.

I do agree on some of his points though, Makaveli's ban does feel... more due to the fact everyone was saying ban him when he was constantly trolling/flaming and got a away with a heck of  alot (even though I don't mind him, everyone knew this) but it wasn't untill everyone started telling you to ban him that you did, there are others who constantly break the rules & nothing happens. I don't think you're a bad Jmod or whatever Lee, at least you're trying/interacting with the community, but I do feel if you've made the time/effort to make a thread about a strike system & have now put it in place, then at least make sure you dish the strikes out fairly and don't hold back if people are constantly breaking the rules, which I feel you might do, maybe I'm wrong but yeah, hopefully it will go well.
