The Jagex staff used to be so excited to come out with such great new content with the new technology. Now I feel all the hype is dead.

I expect a Treasure Hunter 2 update before any big revamp gameplay related. Honestly, unless another company takes over I don't see RuneScape ever going back to what it once was.

They need do something. Bring back pvp,game cant live without it.
Its almost like first player game besides for the chat and clan,nothing is moving and everything is such low volume and energy.
Like even with new update,so few people buy and sell animals. Even the partyhat die hards at w2 have left (not a horrible thing btw). Everything feels so dull,not neccesarily boring but just as if nothing is happening anywhere,sry to say so.
Am probably wrong and its my perspective with memmorys from years ago but would be nice if it was bit more lifely like old school.

rs4 would be a nice chance to change the combat system to a system that most gamers do like. Its a golden opportunity to get away from the path that has led to rs3,s downfall.
Completely new combat system,which will be fun for pvp-ers. Doesn't have to be like old combat system,can be different as long as its different from what it is now.
Bring back the thrill of pvp,simple combat with rng mechanics is perfect for that.

Its simple to fix runescape3,they need pvp so things actually get moving and things are happening. Make world more lifely,all rs3 needs is a valid pvp environment that is attractive for a wide variety of gamers.

Really this. I used to play RS so much and had over 400 days played before EoC which was back in maybe 2012? In the past six years I've added about 120 days, the past 3 years maybe 20-30 days played. I was going for 5k castle war cape and around 4k somewhere, and it has just sat like that for half a decade. Now they just go for the easy money moving micro transactions. I'm always checking up on the game and it doesn't seem to be improving, except in quality of life updates which is always nice. Bossing is great with EoC and pvm can be fun when trying to get huge amounts of xp in a short time, but the core pvp is dead. Origa... may you bless the Heavens with your voice!
