Crackling 3 (at least on armour, never tried weapon) is incredibly easy to get with 2x Explosive, 2x Imbued, 1x Magic. It usually only takes me around 20-30 armour gizmos for 4x Crackling 3s for my gear sets, sometimes much less.

This is to get Crackling 3 on its own with no other perks, or combined with ultimatum which is not a negative perk.

Are you saying that if you put crackling 3 on all 4 armour slots, you'd deal the crackling damage 4x every minute?

No I use 4x Crackling 3, one for torva, one for pernix, one for virtus, and one for akrisae, perks don't stack with each other.

Is biting + crackling confirmed better than the blitzing adrenaline build?

I've been running this https://gyazo.com/5667faf63a84d90e29791568eb35d2f0.jpg for adrenaline gains with vigor + invigorate.

I'm wondering if going for biting is worth losing my 9.2% guaranteed basic, or my 27% chance to roll 9-11% adrenaline on any basic as technically I would threshold/throw ults much more often without losing much if at any damage (compared to biting + crackling)?

e: assuming we'll ever be able to augment defenders, I'll be going the fabled Devoted 3 + Impatient 3 so do I go for Biting 2 or Energizing 2 + Crackling 2 is why I ask.
