This is what I have on my hammer, since I'm already 200m smith and don't need the xp. I use it for amassing large amounts of materials as quickly as possible, where ge buy limits would otherwise prevent me from doing so.

Breakdown 5, Rapid 3 - obtained with 5x undead and 5x enhancing respectively

For firemaking, Tinker 3 is a 3.75% xp boost vs ~2.5% from Rapid 3. (Thanks reddit). Rapid 3 is better used for smithing, where the 1 tick time saving is more significant and also stacks with varrock armour. So I think I'll keep trying to get the Pyro 5 + Rapid 2 combo with 5x light components, and pair that with Tinker 3. So close, I can feel it!

lunge 3 dismember w/ str cape perk means I get 60% chance every 15 seconds to do 8k+ dmg (with zaros godsword, praesul codex prayer, super overload), and the 40% chance minimum where it was 400 x6 is now x8 so 2400 => 3200. Im not using precise, but I bet that'd be even better.

and if there is a 4 comp + ___ chance to get main perk 3 + kinda okay perk similar to aftershock and lunging then still true avernic is

or less per. I'm still positing they do the same damage with difference being the amount of control you can use with lunge to simply remove or not use yer burninating ability from action bar if needed.

not totally different thing: did any of the chart happy people stop to test out the effect of precise, biting, equilibrium on attuned crystal thoroughly? you get your 25% more more often right? yeah I have lunge on that halberd too.

nah.

lunging isn't chance, it's always active. I checked with dummies. 60% higher max hit on a 100%-188% -> 100%-248% hit.
With 8 bleeds, it's like 160%-396.8%, but about half the time it'll hit that 160%.

T99 buff and lunging 3 gives it an average of about 230.1% (debatable, luca says since it's not gaining dmg buff from prayers it's really about

but it's a bleed, and bleeds dont gain from dmg multipliers.


berserk, turmoil/malev, vulnerability scrimshaw will make the other basics hit higher.

so you're paying for a perk that you ONLY USE 2X A MINUTE outside of berserk for a less than 60% dmg increase on a basic. you won't be getting mad gains over the long run.

Lunging is really cheap due to which items give the components. So it's not really about how much you pay, but whether or not it's worth (in terms of effort for reward) switching to an item just to use one ability. People already do this with flanking, so it is something to consider I guess, but I would argue that the effort/reward in both cases, but even more so for this one, is really high to bother. Hi
