Hi.
I think mostly this to be a good and bad idea. As has been stated before, this could wreck havok on the community, such as:
Racial comments/discrimmination, perverse talking/"E-stalking",And foul language being spewed out, screaming/playing music loudly down the mic.
It would most likely split the community into age groups, according to a range of age, maybe 2-3 years difference.
I personally would think introducing voice chat to be ok. But, I myself wouldn't introduce this to Runescape, because, the nature of people now, swearing and being rude is something of the norm, but is still very much offensive.
But on the other hand, it could pull some communities closer together, make minigame/activities more enjoyable and more tactful, and judging on that, it seems to have more downsides than upsides.
Everyone has their own opinions, But, I do believe this would cause more harm than good to Runescape.
But if Jagex can find a way around these problems, I am in favour of voice chat.
^_^
