This would be fantastic!
Last week i thought about this and i wondered if Jagex was ever going to make a voice chat for runescape.
I think that the service should be free to use but only members can use it (p2p) because simply if it is worth money to be used, then people would just use Skype or something else.

@Uhh Weed~~There are servers that cost you nothing; all you pay for is the headset with a microphone attached. In America, the most popular server used is Skype; easily downloaded.
In our clan, we use it when we play Stealing Creation, Soul Wars, God Wars Dungeon, King Black Dragon and Clan Wars. Utilising this, is a great asset for planning strategies and warning each other, or even letting one another know when we are out of something, or close to death. Less death, less loss! Even though, we are a not pking clan, I am sure it would be excellent for clans to implement. In addition, we use it in our core group clan meetings, in order to plan events for the week or other important issues on our agenda.
Using this eliminates game interference, thus making events and meetings go more smoothly.

Great, but what about those warning mesages? I`m receiving them too, is there any serious risk? Because i already tried to ignore it and log in, but it keeps warning me it`s a fake page.
We`d like some answers on that JMods. :|

Voice chat would be a great feature i'd love to utilise and would make a great membership incentive for those non-members amongst us. To be honest i'd quite happily pay an extra 0„51-2 ($1.50-$3) on top of membership for a some sort of voice chat system.
The only reason I don't currently voice chat is because it's hard to get an entire clan to download Skype, especially one as laid back as the one i'm in. If added the majority of our clan are members and would probably take advantage of the system.

Nice idea, Jagex. But there would be some bad things. Like maybe....
- How will you be able to report?
- You would need moderators EVERYWHERE
- I'd go deaf if I hear everybody in G.E.
- You should be able to toggle on/off
- This is a great way for spammers to annoy people
- This would make a lot of friends unfriend their friends because maybe like one of them talk and they sound like 11 and the other wouldn't want to be their friend.
Anyways, I think this is a great idea. I might even use it too, and I bet it would be pretty useful when you're doing activities in clans, dungeoneering, PKing, etc.
I support this 150%.

Wow finally Jagex is adding this, WoW has had this forever, Maybe runescape will actually be a competition to WoW?
Jagex Better think of the following
- Player voice volume
- Muting Players
- Allowing players to type but not talk
MOST IMPORTANT OF ALL
-Compatible with any mic/web cam that plugs into your computer
not saying that there should be an image of you but your web cam mic should still be recognized.
I made a forum about this ages ago but not that many people replied.
Thank you Jagex for finally earning some of your rep back!
All they need to do now is take off that damn 4 hour limit on GE, then it would be TRUE free trade.
