Hiya i would vote, but a warning on my mac came up that the site you implemented was a phishing site so i'm not going to risk it.
Nearly all of the RSB Clans use Ventrillo to communicate both for social reasons and for warring itself. I use it every time i log onto runescape, because there's nothing better than to chat to some friends rather than typing.
I hardly use skype with rs friends because its like trusting them with my IP which i don't

Runescape community clans (pking) use team-speak. OSRS Clan: Elysium CC

I do not use voice chat, and I won't use a Jagex version unless it's free and it has an option to change the sound of my voice.

I would really like to use voice chat in RS but sadly i dont know any ventriloe chats atm. Didnt realise it was a big thing but one aspect of WOW i enjoyed when i played it was being able to have a convo with someone speaking to them, just like on xbox live would be really kool to have it on here too.

I think this is a good idea, especially while doing dungeoneering or boss hunting.
Btw you can probably turn voice chat on and of like the profanity filter, and clans can choose they use it or not.

This is a fantastic idea!
I suggest that there be no public voice options though for obvious reasons. (Grand Exchange and other crowded areas)
Also if it were only for in clan chat use make it so it would require seperate ranks to listen to the voice chat and to speak in it. In a crowded chat say over 100+ people you might want people to listen to it say for an event but 100+ people talking at once would be silly.
One more thing I would like to say is that voice chat in dungeoneering would be great. I look forward to your guys' decision as to whether or not your implementing it in the game.

This would be great!
A couple questions though:
-How would the chat server work?
(Example) If you had a mic plugged in and were in GE could you hear everyone else who had a mic or would you have to be in a specialized party?
-Would there be enough private servers for everyone to have their own party/clan have a channel?
Side Note:
If you guys add this, PLEASE add a mute option for annoying players!
Also, it would be cool if you added a feature were you can go into your friends list and 'right-click' "Invite ____ to party". Something like that.
