Explain me this, in what perspective will penguin hunters benefit from this at all?
From what I'm hearing, jagex has been putting PK'ers on their NR. 1 list, and are forgetting the majority of the players that don't actually use the wildy for fun ...
If jagex wants to be unbiased, then they better give a good, fair and honest explenation for why the wilderness penguins will stay.
I only see 2 solutions:
1) Let the wilderness penguins give a total of 3 points each.
2) Remove them from the wilderness all together.
I just don't see any reason to not ban the penguins from the wildy, as it would seperate (partialy) the amazing W60 penguins clan. Me and many other rely on that clan to find and hunt-down all the penguins each week, if you choose to make penguins wander in the wildy, then you're being ignorant on the perspective on non-pk'ers, and favouring Pk'ers blindly.
I get that Jagex is very excited to make the wildy return, but atleast be unbiased on the perspective of others ... it just creates conflicts that can easily be avoided ...

"So this update is going to bring joy to a wide variety of players, not just PKers slaying helpless penguin hunters."
Am I the only one who found this humorous?
I really question why this is sparking such an outrage within the community. I mean sure, they're poking a little fun at the Penguin Hunter community, but lets be realistic people. This was clearly taken WAY out of proportion, it's a joke.
And do you honestly think Pkers weren't going to pick on the Penguin hunters when the wildy comes back? Please, get real. It's going to happen whether you like it or not.

it's the fact that the plight of penguin hunters so far has been mostly ignored and then they take an extremely bad attempt at being humorous. The fact that wilderness pengs didn't get any change, with practically no explanation(the q&a answer was a joke...) was already a slap into the face for penguin hunters. This was the second one.
If my friend said that, I wouldn't like him for that, but it would be ok. But these are representatives, making bad jokes about the situation, while those threads who argue why penguins should be moved get ignored.
I know that this wasn't intent on looking down on penguin hunters, but it can be VERY easily interpreted as such. Of jagex community mods, I would have expected more sensitivity...

The penguins weren't in the old wild I voted for the change for those honourable pkers who made the community a better place, I voted with the assurance that wildy based activities that had been added since the removal of the old wild would be removed. So did I think this post funny after everything we have been saying no I thought it was a kick in the teeth and a comment that told me what certain mods thought of my contribution to their wages every month really meant.
I must also point out the world 60 penguin clan will not be trapping wildy penguins or giving wildy penguin locations so we wont be pked whether we like it or not because we wont be there.

Oh wow guys, it looks like my comment has been taken way, way way out of proportion.
It was a tongue in cheek comment with regards to penguins being left in the Wilderness. Not a monstrous attack on the Penguin community as a whole. If you look at my interactions with the Penguin, and D&D, community over the last 2 years then you will see that I'm very supportive where possible and I understand your frustrations at the decision.
If you think it was in poor taste, you're entitled to your opinion on what I have to say and I accept that. I can assure you, however, that it was not said as an attack.
If you want me to come and debate why I think some penguins have been left in the Wilderness then I will be happy to on either one of the Penguin threads in the D&D forum.

Thanks Timbo, most of the discussions have taken place in the wildy forum.
There is a list of a few of them on post 4.8
Personally I think more clues is a must, but then again I made that thread :P
Side note:
A few updates that have negatively effected us over the years
(not in order)
1. removed the ability to click your spot to reset your block
2. moved a box in Yanille south wall
3. added a door to Yanille north wall
4. removed the ability to use some emotes to reset your block
5. no quick option added to chuck to get clues (when a quick option for cashing in added)
6. leaving penguins in the wildy.
7. The removal of the natural trap in Draynor manor grounds
Ok, half of those updates prob had other reasons to them.
