Ok People listen you may say the vote is messed up but it doesn't matter because everyone i know wants the wildy and free trade back. This is why the wildy makes it fun and interesting if you get scammed go report him. If you die in the wildy there is reason you died 1 you were being a noob and attacking people higher levels than you 2 you didn't bring food but brought expensive stuff and crappy armour and 3 you didn't train or anything and ran out there thinking you could beat someone. I've said enough about pking now free trade. Your not going to die if you make 1 bad trade there will probable be more ways to figure out if your being scammed.

Bad bad BAD move Jagex to return to the old. I left the game before the changes because of the things other players have already mentioned (scammers, bots etc).
I LOVE RS as it is now and echo the sentiments of those before me - Leave it alone - It is not broken, don't try to fix it and above all ....
STOP bowing to the scammers and bot masters by bringing back something we voted to get rid of to protect us from the very same thing you are looking to be supporting!
I am abstaining from the vote as the mechanics of it is shonky and unclear to say the least. It sets players up to vote FOR the changes instead of what they WANT to vote for.

We did not vote to get rid of free trade or the wild. It just happened. No one had a say in anything. If people did vote I can almost grantee that free trade and the wild would not have been changed in the first place.

Yes i knew this was one day come back to rs. The old pking system and the trade limits mostly the percent of people who plays rs is the ones who does the pking a majority of 80% of people who has played rs go for the pking. I believe that this is true because people train and work hard all the years that they have played to fight against other players to see who is the best pker. In my opinon this is rs because lots and lots of people have quited because old pk and the old drop system,trade limits are gone so i know for a FACT!! that all the players who quited will come back soon!!

I really wonder why Jagex is turning back. Do you have solutions against all evil things that comes along? Does it really threaten the honor of the No.1 game? I don't mean to advertise for either side, but I just want everyone to think thoroughly about it and vote really for the community but not for the fun or joy or benefits of yourself. Care about the others.

I'm probably the only one who thinks this, but I never was with or against the wilderness because I never pk'd.
And free trade was only a minor annoyance.
But with my skiller account, I really don't want to have to compete with an army of bots for yew trees. They're good money, and since I'm f2p, it's all I got.
As for the part where I believe I stand alone, it's just the games appearance, I miss the way RuneScape used to look in 2006/2007.
The games been changing too much.
It's just not as appealing to me anymore.

Like others I have mixed feelings about this change. I also wonder why they have been tied together. Why not just the free trade or just the Wildy?
Having been hacked and lost virtually all my wealth - a huge $30 mil back then - and almost having quit RS as a result, I'm cautious about removing the current safeguards. On the other hand, I don't like the restrictions on being able to help others. That was always so satisfying.
Perhaps setting a trade imbalance limit above which "sellers" need to enter their bank pin would allow free trade but provide some continuing protection.
In respect to the Wildy, the old Wildy is not the way to go as it would again preclude access to many areas that are necessary to visit. I got sick of PK clans camping at all the common entry points, like the Ardy tele, and pwing whoever arrived. It made treasure trails and other "mandatory Wildy trips virtually impossible. There would have to be changes to ensure players had a reasonable chance to access where they needed to go. Perhaps banning clans in the Wildy and or narrowing the player level differential could overcome the worst of the old Wildy's negative aspects.

To all the people complaining about this, Rwtraders, bots and scammers are still here. Just not as many. Not much will change after the update, except more players and more fun. I always got a laugh when someone tried to scam me. It's all part of the game. The bots were a problem, but as far as completely destroying the fun in the game, that was never a problem. They didn't bother me all that much. Free trade will actually help Runescape's economy. I was there way before the update and it was all fine. After the update, things became much more expensive and much harder to get. Free trade and wilderness is something that would bring many players back (I have already spoken to a few that are planning on returning if this update pulls through) Maybe Runescape will be as vast and grand as it used to be. Before the update every single one of my real life friends played. Now only one plays. I have played on and off since the update, but before, I was on the game constantly. I want free trade and wilderness back. Give it a chance. It was awesome back in the day.
