This is pretty cool. For one thing, i love the fact that you guys are trying to bring the wilderness back. the wildy WAS so fun, but now its not even the wilderness. But i don't know about free trade, due to real world trading. with free trade, some players will work very hard to get their money, while others do nothing. if you're trying to bring free trade back, i suggest tweaking the trade system instead of revoking it completely.

The fact is, in almost every single MMORPG there is real world traders, and bots. Its in everything, but Jagex i guess does NOT want it. I mean, nobody wants them, they ruin the game, but you cant ge rid of them. They will always be there.
The major changes that will take place when the update is made:
Bots will be doubled by tenfold
More Scammers
More Real World Trading

The thing is, scamming should not be a big deal. This game is meant for people over the age of 13, and hsould not be played by people under that age. And if you are 13 years or older, you most likely are a bit smart. You should know a scammer when they see one, and jagex makes this game very easy for us, which they shouldnt. it shouldnt be a big deal if you get scammed. ive been scammed alot of times in my younger years of runescape, but im glad i have been, because now i know a scammer when i see one and i am more clever when trading.

as for the wildy, if free trades a problem, its fine, but there is no option for the wildy. the wildy pking needs to be braught back.thats the point of the wildy. Its a place with no life, only death and wandering souls. It shouldnt be tickle me elmo land making it easy for clue solvers, or chaos rune collectors. Its dangerous, and i guess has no laws since you were able to kill other players for there loot.

i support free trade and wildy 100%

now, i have played since 2005. i have had other accounts and the old times were great merchanting in falador garden or behind the varrock west bank. Now, for all those idiots who say they got scammed back then from old wildy/free trade you possibly have half a brain, look CLOSELY before you click "accept". Runescape has NOT been the same since the removal of old wilderness/free trade therefore it will NEVER be the same unless Jagex brings back the old wilderness/free trade. For all those people who havn't experienced the old times do not speak. Jagex, behalf of every player in Runescape who WANTS old wildy/free trade brought back, it would be the GREATEST update you have ever done for Runescape since 2007 when you brought Runescape downhill.

I don't know how 8% can say no to Wilderness. This 8% is just some skillers that have not seen the old Wilderness and are like medium happy with the PvP system we have today.
About the free trade
It will be scamming, we all know. In my opinion you need a very low inteligence to get scammed. Are you that dumb who trade a BGS for 15k instead of 15m?
It is only people that are under-age who can be so stupid. If your under 13 - Get muted! I don't think it should be a report button for scamming because 99,9% of the scammed is under-ages people that do not follow the rules by playing RuneScape and still not in ``Safe mode`` (muted).

Hi Guys,
Thank you sooo much for bringing back the old wildy and free trade.
I have been playing since 2004. Free trade merchanting and pking in the wild (or even sneaking around in the wild) were the funnest parts of RS for sure.
If the vote is in favor of it, then please bring it back without restrictions, as it was in the past. We in the community will be responsible to report botters, scammers and the like. We players will help jegex to police our own game.
When free trade was turned off, the "market" evolved, so that for many items, the raw materials were more expensive than the finished product. This does not reflect the real world, and it made RS into just another fake game.
See? The truly free market is a lot of fun in this game.

Scamming should not be, and should never have been, an issue. If anyone is scammed through trade, it is there fault for *** looking thoroughly at what is being traded. If the trader took an extra second to make sure they were getting 100k for that dragon long, NOT 10k, then they would realize the trick and decline trade immediately.

Being lured into the wilderness should not be a problem either. If you jump over the wall expect to die at any moment.
Bots never left, and they never will. As stated by jagex, they have taken steps to more easily catch the bots, and thats all they can do WITHOUT significantly ruining the gameplay and losing thousands of customers - and that is exactly what happened when they took out the wilderness and free trade.
Imagine if woodcutting was taken out, although it'd be a pain in the ass, and I'm sure many would be upset by it, not many would quit over the loss of woodcutting. Those who spent the recent months cutting to get to 99, sure, they would be ****** off. They might even quit. But that is a very small population when compared to those who PK'ed.

Hey Guys,
I know a vast majority of you have already voted "Yes" for the Wilderness and Free Trade to return. But frankly I just do not see the point of JaGeX even trying to bring it back.
Firstly, it will cause a hugh rise in the number of Pkers or Pures, and will cause a hugh decrease in the number of actual skillers or non-pkers.
Many of you are for (or against) bring back the wilderness.
I personally don't care wheater they bring it back or not. (as I am a skiller) but just think about it. Not being able to go anywhere in the Wilderness without having the risk of being mobbed by a horde of pkers (player Killers). Think what that means, If you go into the Wilderness (for whatever reason) wearing expencive armour... You have better be ready to loose it.
Please think about what it'll do to the (rs) economy. I know they will leave the G.E. (Grand Exchange) but prices will be flucuating so much there will really be no need to buy things on the G.E. as it would be much cheaper to buy them in Trade.
So yes again... Please take a moment to think about the "Pros" and "Cons" (if you will) that will happen to the Game itself...

finally the wildy is back, finally runescape is back.
why do all them stupid assess care about real world trading, thats not a personal issue thats an issue of the whole game. just like unemployment who gives a **** only the government, just bring the wild back and free trade. only noobs get scammed, they will learn.

I find this funny because how can we trust a company that can't even make up there minds and go back on there words?
Also many people who have voted "NO" are many of the higher levels that know what this update will do to everything; example g.e is useless, even more bots then there are now, more rwt then there is now etc. Now is that fair to people who have 200m's? honestly no. To add to this, people think merch clans are bad now... you guys just wait!
