I believe this is great. A reintroduction of the wonderful wilderness and more freedom for players due to free trade.
This, as many people are wondering, will not cause problems. It has been explained before however I want to remind the players who are curious about the update or new to the game.
You MUST be observant when entering the wildy, you should not aim to believe that going in the wildy will not be dangerous - you will face the consequences. ONLY enter if you are prepared to fight or take damage. For us old school players, there is nothing to worry. Quests and clues WILL be relocated.
Free trade means *hat players can trade without restriction. This, yes, may mean an increase in the use of bots/RWD however Jagex has discovered new methods to deal with this and therefore there wont be as much threat as there was back in the past.
Free trade is seen as a positive aspect as presents can be given to friends, players can be helped out, and profit can be made however with ease.
Lastly, OLDSCHOOLWILDY > PVP? YES

Well first off all, id like to say Thanks for voting yes.
Now, about scamming. you really have to be stupid to be scammed. Scamming is close to impossible to pull off now. Honestly, if two trade screens + flashing red indicator isnt enough to prevent simple mistakes, then you deserve to be scammed.
When your pk, its not killing other people and robbing them. Its your risk vs thier risk. pkers dont walk into the wilderness empty handed and walk out rich. They both risk and they both fight until the fight is won, then the winner takes his/her loot and escapes.
Group pking is something that brings players closer together than any other event in the game. when your risking your valuables in a group with being you may or may not know, there is trust involved. you rely on the team to look after on another, escape or die together.
There are the bsers you have to look out for, but a strong pk group has good communication and trusted allies.
In your SAFE minigames:
you risk NOTHING
you have to rely on NO-ONE
you dont need to trust anyone
you dont need to have good friends
Everyone does thier own thing in games such as Clan Wars, Castle wars, Soul wars, Pest Control, ect
If you learn how the wilderness and how different sets of pkers work, then you have a better chance at having a REAL reason to criticise.

Ive never read anywhere that 1mil votes will give us back the wilderness.
There are 1mil total votes, and we dont have 1mil "yes" votes yet.
Edit: Last i checked we had 927,311 Yes votes

I thought it was the majority of votes that wins, eh?
Basically, they may as well call off the referendum and begin updating? Or perhaps they expected the majority to vote YES and have been updating while the referendum continues on for another few days?
