I have many things to say, but as I usually get into too long and semi-off topic paragraphs about my opinion, I will try to be straight about this
How are old players who quit and never go back to RuneScape and maybe have even forgot about it supposed to know that the reason they left might be revised?
You're also not taking in the fact that the vast majority of the people who want this back are scammers anyway. As them being scammers, botters, and autoers alike, they will probably come up with some way to bot to make accounts and vote in on the referendum, so they will have waay more votes, and leave it on the duration of the referendum. As the people who don't want it are HONEST players, they will not do the same to vote against.
Now, the people who honestly want it back, I don't see the real reason. I also don't see why there is not a separate vote for free trade than there is for wildy. Some people are voting just for one side, or just for the other.
This will completely change the game, and will revisit the old scamming, and the newer players who aren't familiar with the aspects will be mislead.
Now to use a little more emotion in my opinion (saying this so I don't look like one of those apparent "hater noobs" that people say.
Of course, if you HAVE to do this cursed idea of yours, you just BETTER make the wildy available in only some worlds and NOT all the worlds NOR the majority. The only reason people would be opposed to that is BECAUSE THEY PLAN TO SCAM WHEN THIS COMES!!
Also, you mention the "old runescape feeling" or something. IMO, that is just another excuse that some of these low-life scammers use.
On another note
The people who want it back have been pretty nasty to you, Jagex, about it. They have had constant raves and spams in the forums, and aren't even asking nicely. They complain and complain.
We, the honest people on the other hand, are polite. Also, in trying to be polite, we are stating our opinion strongly in this, but not spam forums.
