New RuneScape makes me feel old and out of the loop. Being from old RuneScape days makes me feel old as well. Pah! Can't keep up with y'all!
No probs Fredup, now you don't need that magnifying glass! :P

@elmo
tbh the way its going its looking likely that free trade and wilde will be voted in favour of unless jagex finds a way around this which i dont think they will do because they want what the players want, plus they can have my money every month again easily and im sure everybody else's old and new will be happy to pay the membership fees just for the staking/free trade and wilderness update alone.
plus if you look under the definition of referendum(not that im being rude to you at all buddy just saying) it says...
'a legislative act is referred for final approval to a popular vote by the electorate'
basically this means its like any other vote...such as the prime minister...the president etc...
although those are probably 2 more important votes in peoples lives of course but you get the point...if people spend there time voting and then dont get the result it promises from a certain result...maaaan will people riot.

@Merkin Nerdz
-Are you certain that accounts created after November 24 cannot vote? That's great news if it's true... I just don't recall seeing that anywhere.
I'd LOVE to be wrong on this one!!!

@I Poonz I
-Please don't take away from my discussion by being argumentative. I never implied that all the votes were invalid. To be honest, I would anticipate a yes vote in conclusion, however I do challenge the disparity in results.

@I PoonzI & Merkin Nerdz
This is me trying not to be argumentative, but obviously one or the other of you are working with incorrect information, as your responses to my original posting are contradictory.
My posting was opinion based. I'm curious about the ability to create an account simply to vote.

@Johney525
Your comments really take away from the essence of the vote. Despite sharing a position with me in wanting it back, you fail to realize that it's not a competition, it's a decision. Plus... I'd hardly say that the "odds were against us".
BTW, the stats that you presented, and then reiterated don't really provide any useful information.
