@wilm..it wont take long at all to write the script considering its all been done before...they already probably have the changes ready to go its just building hype for it..
plus why would you vote no??
RTW is just a big of a problem as it was before if not maybe slightly less worse but this isnt 2006 anymore...there are plenty of ways they have created to notice if people are cheating etc etc and still the best ways are often the original one implemented such as random events!
without free trade and wilderness it makes the game boring and wrapped in bubble wrap which i am certainly no fan of.
free trade and wilde ftw.

Jagex have already notified us that the code is ready and can be implemented at any time.And as for the 14th of january.If jagex believe that the vote is in favor of wildy and free trade no matter how long they put up the voting system for. then they will stop it and make the changes straight away.

absolutely thrilled!
as far as the wildy and doing clues revs are much more of a pain then pkers were then when doing clues. revs have a much longer range attack then we do.
cant wait to be able to do private drop parties for friends 99 parties again and my sister can give me my money back i gave her years ago hehehe

I am all in favor of this vote but...
bring back free trade, the way i see it is. If someone is scammed then its there own fault for not paying attention to whats going on, (DONT hurry trades). plus if you dont notice the giant red flashing ! then your just plane dumb!!!!.
for the old wildy, mhmm im not a keen pker so heres what i think.
atm we have worlds for pking, bounty and pvp ect. how about you just add another world for the old wildy, leaving the other worlds that people play on normaly to be free of killing of other player.

i agree with ripos. apart from the wildy bit. it was always very fun to be able to go to any world. and go to edgeville and just start pking. also with the wildy coming back. varrock east bank will become much more popular. although its a little bank its constantly used. and now itll be used to sell lobsters sharks ddps just like the old days.. i love them old days. and all those complaining about RWT. it goes on even now. theyve just found different ways of doing it. if we want to stop them, then the only way to do this would be to take trading out of the game all together. and because it relys heavily on trading i doubt thats going to happen.

I can confirm that you are able to infact, create a new account, and vote, in under 30-35 seconds. I just did it.
The system if flawed. Despite the FACT that the results are aligned with my desires, how we get there is flawed.
It could be a yes by 90%, a no by 90%, or a vote for Donald Duck for 135%... The number is meaningless.

I'm assuming that Jagex have a basic idea and assumption of their own on what the majority of players will vote for. If they have the code ready then it cannot possibly be ready to install straight away? - after the voting closes, they'd have to take in the all the votes and decide on each and every aspect of the topics they listed (free trading, wilderness etc) then rewrite or edit some of the pre-made script to go along with what the RuneScape community voted for.
So the update can't be coming out on the 14th or even this month? - The only way that could happen is if the voting went perfectly to what Jagex predicted before releasing the news.Besides Jagex said 2011 will have an exciting update, not month.
That's my thoughts anyway.
